| 13 | M&L for removal of previous water proofing APP membrane from the (Existing roof consist of Solar panels installed on entire roof), cleaning of old layer with wire brush, removing of old loose concrete, filling of brick layer gap with suitable cement/concrete material if any and surface should be dry cleaned and free from oil and grease and existing bitumen surface, loose particles should be removed and damaged spots should be repaired first with cement concrete. First part consist of cut and widen all Cracks in V shape in the size of 8-10mm width and fill the cracks with Dr fixit PU sealant or feviseal HY 100/200 sealant. Second part consist of Apply a priming coat of Dr. fixit Roofseal select, diluted with water in a 2(Roofseal select):1(water) ratio, as a self priming coat . Third part consist of Apply first coat of Dr fixit roofseal select at a rate of 0.45-0.50 ltr/sqm/coat. A glass fibre mesh of size 2.5mmx 2.5mm is sandwiched between the first and second coats while the first coat is still wet. Allow the first coat to dry for 4-6 hrs. Fourth part consist of Apply second and third coats of Dr. fixit roofseal select with the same application coverage, but in direction perpendicular to that of the first and second coats. Allow each coat to air cure for a minimum of 4-6 hours after application Lastly the waterproof area must be air cured for minimum 24-48 hours. Conduct pond test for minimum 24 hrs with 4 inch water head. |
