Hard concrete should not be removed by force.2) M&L for cleaning existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush to a shining bright finish, making the surfaces free from loose material, dirt etc complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer conforming to ASTM-B-117 of make. \\"Feovert\\" of \\"Krishna Conchem\\" OR \\"Roff Rust Cleaner' of 'Pidilite' OR 'Shali Rustoff' of 'STP Ltd', on rebars with time interval of 1 hr between the coats, complete all as specified and directed. | 5 | 3) M&L for Anticorrosive Treatment to Reinforcement using Corroseal - ZR of M/s Krishna Conchem or Epoxy Zinc Primer of M/s. Dr. Fixit by application on exposed reinforcement in two coats with time interval of minimum 4 hours between each coat. The application shall be done by brush after cleaning/wire brushing to the exposed steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. 4) M&L for Epoxy bond coat of Make Fosroc (NITOBOND-EP) OR EPOXY BONDING AGENT of Dr. Fixit OR equivalent of M/s. Krishna Conchem as approved by GE over exposed concrete surfaces prior to application of any type of mortar to ensure bond between old concrete & new concrete by brush application, complete all as specified and directed. |
