| 28 | Dismantling loose concrete cover of RCC columns, beams, slabs chajjas and the like as directed, roughening and cleaning concrete surface with steel wire brushes, washed with water and allowed to dry, incl derusting of steel reinforcement, providing fabric mild steel wire mesh 75 mm x 75 mm x 2 mm dia as reinforcement to concrete. After placing the additional reinforcement all concrete surfaces shall thoroughly scrubbed with brushes, washed with water and alloy to dry . To this surfaces apply chemical polycrete admixture at the rate not less than 2% by weight of cement and providing minimum 30 mm thick (average thickness ) gunniting mix (using 1 part of ordinary Portland cement 53 Grade and 2 parts of ghaggar sand mixed with adhesive / admixture at the rate as directed) with a pressure of 2 to 2.5 Kg per Sq cm by gunniting machine and surfaces finished even and fair, incl necessary padding, shuttering / form work . Including 5 mm thick cement plaster in CM (1: 4 ) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -charge. Note:- (a) The rate is inclusive for scaffolding or reqd necessary arrangement for multi-storey bldg external gunniting. |
