| 5 | Providing and laying of Carpet Tile over the specified area with following specification. The floor which recieves the carpet to be thorougly cleaned as per manufacturer's specification. The carpet is to be laid over a bed of manufacturer's approved adhesive spread evenly over the entire floor. The rate shall include cutting, trimming, fixing and clearing away of residual material to a location as directed. The rate shall also include supplying and laying of a protective layer of PVC or HDPE sheet of 50 microns thickness, held together with scotch tape. The laid carpet to be vacuumed after the removal of protective cover/on commissioning. If after the protective layer is removed and stains observed in the carpet because of in adequate protection, the same shall be shampooed and made good to the satisfaction of the project managers. The measurements of carpet will be the actual laid area. (Basic cost of tile : Rs. 200 /sft ) If the basic rates differ by (+-10%), then necessary adjustment shall apply.
