2	Earthwork excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means for foundations, trenches, etc., not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan in hard gravelly soil and other types of soil including shoring, strutting, bailing of water, if necessary, dressing of sides, levelling and ramming the bottom of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus earth (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed) stacking the excavated material away from edge of trenches within a lead of 50 metres, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Only plan dimension of the foundation concrete shall be measured for payment except for under ground water proofing.)

5	Excavating trenches of required width by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means for pipes, cables etc., for depth upto 1.5m in all kinds of soil including excavation for sockets, dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, getting out the excavated soil and then refilling the soil as required in layers not exceeding 200mm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc., and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m, (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed) etc., all complete as per specification.
6	Filling available selected excavated earth (excluding rock) available at site in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation, etc., in layers not exceeding 200 mm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, levelling and dressing the top surface, lead upto 1 Km and lift upto 1.5m etc., all complete as per specification.
7	Filling available selected excavated earth (excluding rock) available at site in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation, etc., in layers not exceeding 200 mm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, levelling and dressing the top surface, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m etc., all complete as per specification.
8	Providing and laying of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) for Sub-base and base course conforming to clause 406 of MORT&H Specification for road and bridge works (Fifth Revision) using 53mm downgraded stone aggregate including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate, premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver/motor grader in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, etc., all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
9	Providing Pre-Construction Anti-termite Treatment using Chlorpyriphos E.C 20% with 1 % concentration or other approved chemical as detailed below including cost of chemicals, labour and all other incidental charges for entire ground floor area of building and injecting termicide emulsion to the soil in contact with the foundation along the perimeter of both internal and external walls, etc., all as per IS: 6313 (Part-2). 1) Top surface of consolidated earth within plinth walls shall be treated with chemical emulsion @ 5 Ltr/Sq.m of the surface before the sand bed or sub-grade is laid. 2) Treatment along the external perimeter and internal perimeter at junction of the wall and the floor of the building shall be treated with chemical emulsion @ 7.5 Ltr/Sq.m, to facilitate this holes shall be provided @ 150mm apart upto GL for inner side and upto 300mm below GL for external perimeter. 3) The entire treatment shall be done as per the specifications and instructions of the termicide Manufacturer and as directed by the Department. 4) The treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of anti termite treatment. 5) Five years guarantee from the date of completion of maintenance period shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed format of the department for the above anti-termite treatment work.
10	Cutting and felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks, branches, removing the roots, stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within a lead of 200m including filling the pits and depression with excavated earth, etc., all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
11	Beyond 300mm girth upto and including 600mm girth.
12	Beyond 600mm girth upto and including 1200mm girth.
13	Beyond 1200mm girth upto and including 2400mm girth.
14	Trimming of tree branches, which causing hindrance to free vehicle movement, blocking street light and touching the building etc., on road sides, avenues, streets and near buildings, including cutting the branches of trees using necessary tools, collecting, transporting and disposing them at places shown by the department using their own means of conveyance all as directed by the Engineer-in- charge.

21	Providing, erecting, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works at all lifts and all shapes such as circular works, chamfers, splays, etc., using Steel / Plywood shuttering including centering, scaffolding, strutting, propping with necessary bracing in all areas, fixing of EPs, cutting holes and fixing pipe sleeves, applying of approved form oil over surface in contact with concrete, de-shuttering after specified curing period, etc., all complete as per drawings and specifications.[Note : Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Stop boards for construction joints will not be measured seperately for payment. Centering and shuttering where exceeding 3.5m height in one floor shall be measured and paid for seperately.]

24	Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete of the following grades of design mix by Weigh batching using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including cost of admixtures in recommended proportion wherever required, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc., as per drawings and specifications.Note :1) The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.2) The rate of concrete shall include the cost of admixture in recommended proportions as per IS 9103 as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.3) Cement proportion for Concrete Mix shall be on the basis of weigh batching only as per design mix.4) The cost towards any upward / downward variation required to obtain the specified strength over the minimum cement content will be paid for or deducted at the rate specified in Schedule 'F'.

Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).
28	Providing, hoisting and fixing in position of 50mm thickness of precast slabs in cement concrete 1:2:4 using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing, finishing the exposed surface, curing, fixing at all levels, grouting with CM / Cement grout wherever required, etc., all complete excluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item as per specifications and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
29	Providing, hoisting and fixing in position 50mm thick Precast RCC jali at all lifts of approved pattern and size as per drawing with cement concrete 1 : 1.5 : 3 including required nominal reinforcement, curing, smooth finished surface with float coat of neat cement on all sides, fixing and jointing with CM 1:3, scaffolding etc., all complete as per drawing and specification.
30	Providing and laying Random Rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1 : 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) in foundation and plinth using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry including bond stones of 2 Nos/Sq.m at 1.5 to 1.8 mtrs apart, raking out joints, curing, etc., all as per standard specification.

40	Supplying, fabricating and fixing Steel Grills of required pattern and size for Windows/Ventilators, Staircase Hand Rails, etc., fixed to openings/wooden frames at site, comprising of MS square bars / MS rounds / MS flats, etc., including fixing with necessary wood screws for fixing grills / by welding in steel windows, painting with two coats of anti corrosive paint of approved colour and make over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer/ zinc phosphate primer, etc., all completed as per specification.[Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist and concrete embedment's for fixing the steel works.]
41	Supplying, fabricating and fixing of Foundation bolts for fixing truss made up of MS/TMT bars of approved dia. including cutting, bending to required shape, making thread of required pitch, providing suitable bolt, embedding in RCC using templates, fixing the bolts, painting the entire bolt with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer / zinc phosphate primer as per manufacturer instructions, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
42	Supplying, fabricating and fixing Structural Steel work in built up sections for gate, handrailing, trusses and framed work at all lifts comprising square / rectangular / Tubular hollow sections conforming to relevant IS standard of TATA or SAIL or approved equivalent make including cutting, welding, bending to required shape for curved profile, hoisting, fixing in position at all lifts, embedding with cement concrete, painting the exposed faces with 2 coats of metal coat PU finish paint of make MRF or other approved make over one coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer with thinner 1110 Ep for epoxy primer and thinner for finish for metal coat paint as per manufacturer instructions, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings.[Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist, concrete embedment's and foundation bolts for fixing the steel works.]
43	Providing and fixing cold rolled colour coated Galvalume steel profile sheets for roofing and cladding using sheet of 0.47mm base thickness 550Mpa yield stress (ASTM A792m) with coating class AZM 150 (minimum 150 gram/Sq.m total mass zinc aluminium coating of both sides as per relevant standards) of make JSW / Bhushan / TATA to suit a purlins spacing of 1.5 mts c/c including the cost of providing ridge gutter edge profiles, cost of making crimps for curved surface, fixing over purlins, making etc., all complete as per drawings and specifications.Note: 1) The sample of Galvalume steel sheet shall be got approved by the Engineer-in- charge before making bulk order.2) The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/self tapping screws of size (5.5 mm X 55mm) with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, Bolts and nuts 8mm dia with Bitumen and G.I limpet washers or with G.I limpet washer filled with white lead complete up to any pitch in Horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
44	Supplying and fixing roofing with 10mm thick multi wall compact type poly carbonate sheets fixed over the frame work of MS tubular truss at all lifts including necessary arrangements for rain water gutter, fixing the sheets with Aluminium extrusion (with self drilling screws) rubbed beading with sealers for all fixings, etc., all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Tubular truss shall be paid for seperately under relevant item)
45	Supplying, Manufacturing and Fixing Second class Teakwood frames and architraves for frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows, cupboards, and other frames made out of 50mm thick and below of approved second class teakwood of required sizes fixed including cutting, planking, jointing, making necessary rebate / grooves for fixing door shutter, fixing in masonry with required nos. of 40x5mm flat iron MS holdfasts 200mm long and embedding in cement concrete 1:3:6 or fixed in concrete with necessary screws / fasteners as directed for various sizes of structural openings including applying anti-termite chemical over the surface in contact with masonry / concrete, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings.[Note: Rate shall be inclusive of providing required holdfasts, embedded in cement concrete, applying chemical and fixing.]
46	Supplying and fixing in position 75mmx50mm size Wood Polymer Composite (WPC) solid door frame confirmed ti IS:2380 latest having density of minimum 850 Kg/Cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2000 N at face and 1600 N at edge, water absorption less than 1%, Class A fire resistance and tensile strength greater than 12 MPa including fixing required hardware fittings, required screws, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

55	Fabrication and fixing of 18 mm thick, 150 mm wide pelmet using the available old wood by cutting to required length, jointing, fabricating to required size including fixing in wall with 18mm thick teakwood brackets with suitable screws/ rawl plug, providing 20mm dia heavy duty quality anodized aluminium curtain rod of polishing the all exposed surface with three coats of natural polishing with French/Touch wood polish, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer. [Note: Aluminium curtain rod will be paid separately under relevant item.]
56	Supplying, fitting, fixing in position of 5mm thickness Tinted glass of approved colour of \\"Saint Gobain\\" or approved equivalent make for doors, partition, windows, fixed glazing, louvers, etc., including fixing with putty, TW beading, Neoprene gasket, etc., all complete as per drawing and specifications.
57	Supplying and fixing in position of single glazing using 5mm thick toughened glass with Solar Heat Gain Coefficient of 0.7 and Visual Transmittance 0.58 (as per ECBC) fixed in the metal frames of make Saint Gobain (ST167 Sparkling Ice Toughened Glass) or approved equivalent make for doors, partition, windows, fixed glazing, louvers, etc., including fixing with neoprene gasket etc., all complete as per drawing and specifications.
58	Providing and fixing in position Aluminium partitions, doors, windows, ventilators, louvers, fixed glazing, sliding windows north light glazing, sliding shutter 'E' Channel, trellis, etc., using heavy duty standard anodized aluminium extruded sections, anodized aluminium sheets as per relevant IS code of \\"JINDAL\\" or approved equivalent make including pivots, approved door and window handles, door stopper, EPDM gasket, neoprene gasket lining, stainless steel screw, mastic filling, weather strips, washers, reinforcing the door shutters at top and bottom with MS rod threaded and fixed to vertical members, etc., as required and as per drawing etc., all complete at all heights and as directed by the Engineer in charge.Note:- 1. Payment shall be made on the basis of weight of aluminium members/section fabricated and actually installed in position without extra allowance for wastage no extra payment shall be made for non-aluminium consumable items like screws, gasket, weather strips PVC/Neoprene lining, sliding wheels for windows, in built tower bolt, reinforcing rods, etc., 2. Glazing, particle boards, Aluminium grills, mesh etc., will be paid separately under relevant items.3. All fittings except under Note-1 will be paid separately under relevant item and the fittings shall be of matching colour anodized aluminium sections. 4. The aluminium section shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required cleat angles at no extra cost.5. The entire pattern of stainless steel hand railing work/pattern including fixing of etched glass, if any in the hand rail shall be got approval by Engineer in charge/Architect before execution.7. Only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc., for payment purpose.
60	Supplying and fixing factory made approved PVC solid door frame and panelled PVC door shutter with furniture fittings as detailed below as per specification and as directed. i) Door Frame: The door frame shall be of factory made accucel PVC foam profile solid of size 60x30mm with suitable rebate for shutters (Profile FP-6030). The joints shall be made by SP 5 epoxy seal and fevikwik / solvent as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. ii) Door Shutter: The door shutter shall be of 28mm thick factory made accucel panelled door using solid PVC frame profile with integral FP-7114 as frame and 3mm thick H.P.L (high pressure compact laminated) as in fill, including the shutter frame shall be reinforced with 39 x 19 x 0.6mm thick GI - C stiffner alround in between FP - 7114, providing telescopic polymeric L corner at four corners, providing 75 x 38 x 18mm Zinc coated MS - C clamp at lock rail joint, providing FP - 1208 beading alround the HPL infill, the joints shall be made by SP 5 epoxy seal and fevikwick, etc., as per manufacturer specification. iii) Fittings: - The door shutter shall be fixed with the following hardware fittings.a) 4 Nos. of 75 mm long stainless steel butt hinges of approved make and bearing ISI mark with suitable stainless steel screws.b) Two numbers of 125mm long anodised aluminium D handle of approved make as per IS - 208 bearing ISI mark with suitable CP screws.c) Two numbers of 75mm long anodised aluminium baby latch type tower bolt with suitable CP screws.d) One number of 50mm long solid PVC door buffer with 75mm long CP screws. 114	Providing water proofing treatment at sunken portion of toilet, utility, bathroom etc,. with two coat of two component highly flexible polymer modified cementitious water proofing coating of make FAB chemical (Mixguard AC) or Bostik (Boscolastic) or equivalent including preparation of surface free from dust/oil/grease, sealing the UPVC sleeve pipes using non shrink grout mortar over bonding coat using SBR chemicals and sealing the joints with polyester fleece along the periphery of UPVC pipes, appling two coat of water proofing etc,. all complete as detailed below as per manufacturer specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Surface preparation: The surface to receive water proof treatment shall be cleaned to make sure that the surface free from dust, dirt, laitance, debris, loose mortars, oil particles etc., which may negatively affect the adhesion of water proof treatment with mother concrete surface. Sealing bore hole gap around the sleeve pipes: The gap around the pipe shall be filled with non shrink grout mortar of make FAB chemicals (Mixgrout NS) or equivalent and providing necessary slurry tight form work to enveloping the pipe with a bead of 6 to 8mm and 5mm above the surface level along with a sealer coat of make FAB chemical (Mixprime AC100) or equivalent and seal with saturated polyester fleece all along the periphery of pipes.
115	Water proof treatment: Providing and applying two coats of two component Highly elastomeric flexible polymer modified cementitious cold applied water proof coating of make FAB chemical (Mixguard AC) or Bostik (Boscolastic) over the prepared surface to cover complete area, finishing etc. Extend the coating up to a minimum of 300mm height to the adjoining wall as per manufacturer specification.(Note:- 1) All the sunken portion shall be tested for the water leaking before and after treatment by filling with water for 24hours and grouting shall be carried out if any leakage found. 2) The treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of waterproofing treatment. 3) Five years guarantee from the date of completion of maintenance period shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed format of the department for the workmanship and the materials provided.)

216	The schedule of quantities is to be read for the purpose of pricing in conjunction with the special conditions, general rules for the guidance of contractors, conditions of contract, specifications, drawings, schedule of supply of materials and the appendices.

222	The contractor shall be responsible for supply of cement and procure Ordinary Portland Cement conforming to IS 269-2015 / Portland Pozzolona Cement conforming to IS: 1489-2015 and use it on works. Since the supply of cement by the department has been dispensed, all the clauses relevant to supply of cement by department in this tender document stands cancelled. The contractor shall purchase cement from the approved manufacturers only. The secured advance on cement shall be regulated as per Clause 10-B of conditions of contract. Secured advances on cement up to 90% of assessed price shall be paid to the contractor after indemnifying the Government and through insurance cover. The quantity of cement on which secured advance shall be paid will be restricted to the consignment of cement tested and passed in the test in department laboratory. Prior approval to be obtained from the Engineer for the quantities proposed to be purchased.
223	The contractor shall procure Ordinary Portland Cement conforming to IS 269-2015 / Portland Pozzolona Cement conforming to IS: 1489-2015 and use it on works. Ordinary Portland Cement, as required in the work, from reputed manufacturers of cement, having a production-capacity of one million tonnes per annum or more, such as A.C.C., L & T, J.P. Rewa, Vikram, Shri Cement, Birla Jute and Cement Corporation of India, etc., as approved by Ministry of Industry, Government of India, and holding license to use ISI certification mark for their product whose name shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. Supply of cement shall be taken in 50 Kg. bags bearing manufacturer’s name and ISI marking, samples of cement arranged by the contractor shall be taken by the Engineer-in-charge and got tested in accordance with provisions of relevant BIS codes. In case test results indicate that the cement arranged by contractor does not conform to the relevant BIS codes, the same shall stand rejected and shall be removed from the site by the contractor at his own cost within a week’s time of written order from the Engineer-in-charge to do so.
224	The cement shall be brought at site in bulk supply of approximately 50 tonnes or as decided by the Engineer-in-charge.
225	The cement Godown of having a capacity to store minimum of 2000 bags of cement shall be constructed by the contractor at site of work for which no extra payment shall be made from department. Double lock provision shall be made to the door of the cement godown. The keys of one lock shall remain with the Engineer in charge or his authorised representative and the key of the other lock shall remain with the contractor. The contractor shall be responsible for the watch and ward the safety of the cement godown. The contractor shall facilitate the inspection of the cement godown by the Engineer-in-charge at any time.
226	The contractor shall supply free of charge the cement required for testing. The cost of tests shall be borne by the contractor.
227	The actual issue and consumption of cement on work shall be regulated and proper accounts maintained as provided in Clause 10 of the contract. The theoretical consumption of cement shall be worked out as per procedure prescribed in Clause 42 of the contract and shall be governed by conditions laid therein.

229	The contractor shall procure only TMT bars of Fe500-D Grade conforming to IS – 1786 (Latest edition) produced by the following manufacturers SAIL, RINL, TATA & JINDAL with a test certificate and use it on works after getting approval from department Engineer or tested in department laboratory. Sample shall be tested for all the required parameter as specified in the BIS before bulk purchase. The contractor shall have to obtain and furnish test certificates to the Engineer-in-charge in respect of all supplies of steel brought by him to the site of work. Samples shall also be taken and got tested by the Engineer-in-charge as per the provisions in this regard in relevant BIS codes. In case the test results indicate that the steel arranged by the contractor does not conform to BIS codes, the same shall stand rejected and shall be removed from the site of work by the contractor at his cost within a week’s time from written orders from the Engineer-in-charge to do so.
230	The steel reinforcement shall be brought to the site in bulk supply of 10 tonnes or more or as decided by the Engineer-in-charge.
231	The steel reinforcement shall be stored by the contractor at site of work in such a way as to prevent distortion and corrosion and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Bars of different sizes and lengths shall be stored separately to facilitate easy counting and checking.
232	For checking nominal mass, tensile strength, bend test, re-bend test etc. specimen of sufficient length shall be cut from each size of the bar at random at frequency not less than that specified below: Size of bar For consignment below 100 tonnes For consignment over 100 tonnes Under 10 mm dia. One sample for each 25 tonnes or part thereof One sample for each 40 tonnes or part thereof 10 mm to 16mm dia. One sample for each 35 tonnes or part thereof One sample for each 45 tonnes or part thereof Over 16 mm dia. One sample for each 45 tonnes or part thereof One sample for each 50 tonnes or part thereof
233	The contractor shall supply free of charge the steel required for testing. The cost of tests shall be borne by the contractor.
234	The theoretical consumption of steel on work shall be worked out as per procedure prescribed in Clause 42 of the contract and shall be governed by conditions laid therein. For the purpose of payment, weight will be calculated on the basis of bar bending schedule and weights of bar given as under. Wherever actual lengths placed differ from bar bending schedule actual length will only be measured. (nominal size) MS rods will be based on the weight as arrived at by the procedure as specified below. For the purpose of arriving at an average weight per unit length of any individual size of the bar, a set of bars of the same size selected at random from each consignment shall be weighed, their lengths accurately measured and average weight per unit, length found out. Unit weights thus found out, for each size and each consignment shall be approved by the Engineer. Bars measured as used in works shall be converted into weight by adopting unit weights referred to above.
235	Steel brought to site and steel remaining unused shall not be removed from site without the written permission of the Engineer-in-charge. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
