| 10 | Raising / Lowering of manhole RCC cover slab and frame upto 25 cm height to keep in alignment with the new road surface consisting of the following operations.i)Earth work in excavation/ Cutting bituninous surface around chamber side walls including dismantling bituminous road if any required.ii)Removing and stacking within 50 meter lead the RCC rectangular manhole cover [upto 3 Nos each of sizes upto 0.50X1.20m] protected on all edges with frame of galvanized angle sectioniii)Dismantle the chamber wall [made of RCC wall of thickness 300mm upto the required depth for removal of frame and down clamps.iv)Keep the dismantled outer frame with clamps in position and in alignment to the new road level and place the shuttering on side walls.v)Place the concrete of mix 1:1.5:3 (1 cement :1.5 coarse sand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size] on side walls for fixing outer frame. |
| 11 | The rate includes all the operations of making barricades, traffic signals, dismantling Bituminous road surface, Earth work, Removal & stacking of RCC cover, Dismantling RCC concrete wall & frame, Centering & shuttering for raising Manhole wall, welding reinforcement, providing RCC 1:1.5:3 for wall, plastering, curing & setting available frame , RCC covers in position & disposal of building rubbish/malba from the site etc ; all complete as directed by the Engineer -in- Charge.(The rate inclusive for all operations except Precast RCC Slab) 1.35m x 1.20m size |
| 12 | Raising of manhole cast iron cover slab and frame(Weighing 105Kg) upto 25cm height to keep in alignment with the new road surface consisting of the following operations. i)Removing and stacking within 50 metre lead ( 105Kg cast iron manhole cover [0.70mtr dia]. ii)Dismantle the manhole neck [made of RCC wall of outer dimension 1.30X1.30 m with 0.30 m side walls] upto the required depth for removal of frame and down clamps. iii)Place the concrete of mix 1:1 1/2:3[1 cement:1 1/2 coarse sand:3 graded stone aggregate 210 mm nominal size] on side walls for fixing outer frame with adequate quantity of steel reinforcement. iv)Making good the damages by plastering the inside and outside of the neck and refixing the cast iron covers in position |
| 13 | The rate includes for all operations of dismantle the bituminous road , reinforced cement concrete , stacking and safe custody of C I cover and frame , shuttering,setting available frame and cover in position ,providing RCC, plastering on the new concrete surfaces , curing ,making arrangement of barricades and engaging labours for controlling the traffic if required & disposal of building rubbish/malba from the site etc; and all as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. |
| 14 | Laying available RCC precast slabs in position carefully for replacing the damaged one using necessary tools, and equipments without causing damages to the cables and other service lines if any in the manhole including tking out and transportation of the slabs from the locations shown by the Engineer in Charge. |
