| 26 | M&L for Earthing with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 25mmx4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. NOTE:- (i) Factory made PCC pit chamber shall be provided at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The unit rate includes earthing lead & protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate.(iii) Earth resistance shall be less than 10 ohm. In case the test result are not found less than 10 ohm, complete earthing shall be redone by contractor without any extra cost to the Government. |
