| 31 | Providing and fixing 100 mm Vertical Blinds having 1.20mm to 1.30mm wall thickness head rail 20 mm to 25mm high X 10 mm to 50 mm wide extruded high strength aluminum alloy section which is anodised for smooth and corrosion resistance finish for which it has end control unit state of art planetary reduction gear box having the reduction rate of 3:1 to 6;1. The end control unit has sprocket fixied with it which is driven by the tilter chain, made of 4.5mm plastic beads moulded on 2.20 mm thick polyester cord which rotates the louver by 180 degree. The tilting operation to be smooth end control unit ha tilt rod fixed to it which is of 5.80 mm to 6.00 mm average diameter and made of extruded aluminum with 3 key ways to achieve tensional deflection. Carrier (Runner) made of moulded plastic having anti friction additive which has gear and worm mechanism to hold the louvers and is drive by tilt rod to rotate the lovers. Proper spacing of runners is maintained by spacer made of moulded Derlin / stainless steel having anti friction additive. Spacer ensures. Overlapping of louvers which are made of specification of vista or equivalent chemical. Febrics weight 220- 230gm/sqm in varying widths. Louver to be kept straight and prevented from swaying by bottom mechanism (weight & Chain). Bottom weight is made of powder coated galvanized steel sheet/ PVC 1.7mm thic for maximum corrosion resistance and Bottom Chain made of 2mm diameter plastic beads moulded on polyester cord available depending on the width of the louvers. The blinds are fixed on galvanized steel “L” brackets made of 3mm thickness fitted pressure clip made of spring stainless steel to hold he head rail. The cord weight is made of ABS material hollow casing with inside while the cord is of 1.80mm to 2.20mm diameter braided high strength polyester fiber cord maximum abrasion resistance and minimum elongation etc. of “Vista” or equivalent make, and the work is to be done as per direction of engineer-in- charge. |
