Note for BOQ Item No 01 to 26: Items for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor through autherized applicator as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE/AGE (I). (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.(c) Rate quoted by contractor includes use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, euipment & machines etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc and preparation of surfaces.(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.(j) The spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer i.e Asian/Berger or other equivalent manufacturer with pro guard technology (k) Guarantee :- The contractor shall furnish a warranty certificate from approved make in favour of Garison Engineer for the efficieny of the weather proof paint for 5 yrs during the guarantee period.(i) The old surface must be prepared with wall care putty in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture.(iv). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building.(v).
