| 33 | Vacuum Circuit Breaker:-11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 KA VCB module should consists of an SF6 cubicle housing a fixed type Vacuum Circuit Breaker and a series disconnector and earth switch. An integrated relay and related CTs is used for tripping of the circuit breaker. Use of SF6 as Fault interruption media is not allowed because of safety and envirenmental reasons. Bus bar and all electrical connections should be located inside the tank. The operating shafts for the switches should have rotary seals where they enter the SF6 cubicle. The circuit breaker used shall be of same make as that of RMU. The operating mechanisms are located outside on the front side of the SE6 tank. Vacuum bottles should be used as interrtupters of the fault currents. The make of Vacuum bottle should be same as that of RMU.
