Vertical sides shall be plastered in CM (1:3) 15mm thick mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions .Plaster shall be extended over PCC coving when the same is green i.e. PCC & Plastger be carried out at the same time complete all as specified and directed.(iv) After laying sewage /Plumbing pipes with fixtures in position 2 coats of epoxy compound shall be applied complete all as specified and directed.(v) Spouts of 25mm dia GI pipe light grade projecting 450 mm clear of face outer a wall with mosquito proof cap on inner face of pipe shall be provided to drain out seepage water including cutting holes and making good if needed as specified and directed .(vi) Test again of water tightness by pounding for 72 hours & rectify defects if any till total elimination of defects complete all as specified and directed .the sunken portion shall be tested for leakage /seepage /dampness by pounding with water for 72 hours .in case any defect is noteced the portion shall be grounted with cement slurry mixed with suitable chemical & tested again .The process of grouting and testing shall be repeated till leakage /seepage /dampness is eliminated as specified and directed . |
