| 5 | Material and Labour for removing existing treatment, including all loose gravel, cement mortar, dirt, oil, grease, and foreign material using a jet of dry air. Removing loose existing bituminous material manually and with a heat torch gun to obtain a smooth, plain finished surface free from loose material. Repairing all joints and cracks, and applying a primer (such as Smart Care epoxy primer) to seal the pores and cracks and enhance the adhesion of the coating. Applying a first coat of fibre-reinforced elastomeric liquid waterproofing membrane formulated with Polyurethane (PU) hybrid polymers and reinforcing acrylic fibres, featuring a Sun Reflective Index (SRI) of 100-110, having a minimum elongation of 300% to 350%, tensile strength of 1.8 MegaPascal (Mpa) to 2.9 MegaPascal (Mpa), and possessing crack bridging ability up to 10-12 degrees Celsius, with 33% dilution of the priming coat. Laying of fibre mesh of 0.3 millimeter thickness woven in a leno pattern having 45 gram per Square Meter, and pasting it properly with an overlap of 50 millimeter, allowing it to dry for 10 to 12 Hours. Applying a second undiluted coat at the rate of 0.45 Litre per Square Meter and allowing it to dry for 4 to 5 Hours. Applying a third and final undiluted coat at the rate of 0.45 Litre per Square Meter. Note: Application of the waterproofing treatment shall be done only by an Authorized Applicator to the entire-satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |

Creating a cementitious elastomeric polymeric membrane of Elastobar and Zycoprime/Equivalent after application of Zycosil & Zycoprime Solution in New Construction. Take equal parts of Elastobar and Cement and form a paste. Add little water to the paste to make it brushable. Apply the paste on surface with brush. Leave the surace for drying for at least 4 - 6 hours to get elastomeric membrane. After this application, make one more layer of rough cementatios membrane using mixture of 1 Part of Zycoprime + 1 Part of Cement + 1 Part of fine sand. Apply paste on the surface with a brush to make a rough texture. Now your surface is ready to bond well with tiles/screed. |
