The pole surface should be cleaned well by removing dust/ rust & other depositions & smoothened with the sand paper/Iron brush & proper filling be made before painting. For numbering of poles the base should be painted with yellow and the number should be written in black letters of 3” in length. DANGER shall be written on each pole on its two sides with red paint on yellow base such that it may be visible clearly from far.
