PREPARATION OF SUBGRADE AT CUTTING PORTION. Preparation and consolidation of sub grade after loosening of the ground upto a level of 100 mm below the sub-grade level, watered, mechanically/manual means and compacted in layers to meet requirement of table 300-2 for sub-grade construction complete in all respect in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting granular sub base 200mm thick material compacted of natural sand, morrum, gravel crushed stone or combination thereof as per MORT&H specification confirming to clause 401 coarse graded grading – I as per table 400.2 of MORT&H specification, including spreading on the prepared sub grade with the help of tractor with planner of adequate capacity maintaining the requited slope and grade during operation, rolling with road roller 8-10 tone with the grade and cross fall (camber) to be checked and any high spot or depressing which becomes apparent, corrected by removing or adding fresh material, including cost of tools and plants, carriage of material from stacks, templates, barrier, lighting arrangement at night, chowkidar and maintenance of diversion etc. complete in all respect as per MORT&H specifications, density of GSB as laid 2 gms/cc complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.

WET MIX MACADAM : Construction of 250mm thick compacted Wet Mix Macadam to confirming to clause 406 of MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway)specification (4th edition) having as laid, density of 2.2gm/c.c (Two point Two gram per cubic centimeter) by providing laying, spreading and compacting clean, crushed aggregate and granular material(taking 3.3 cum material for 10 sqm (Ten square metre) area conforming to Table 400.10(Physical characteristics) Table 400.11 (grading) of MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway)specifications (4th edition). The material shall be premixed with water at OMC in Mixing Plant/Pan type mixer/Pug Mill and mixed material carried to site by tippers and spread uniformly and evenly on the prepared sub base/base by paver finisher of adequate capacity and all high and low spots remedied by removing or adding aggregate, as required and rolled with 8-10 (Eight to ten tones) tones roller to achieved/desired density. It shall included the cost of tools and plants, carriage of material from stacks, templates, barriers, safety temporary warning lamps at night, chowkidar, maintenance of diversion etc. Complete in all respects as per MORT&H (Ministry of road transport and highway) specification and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing Precast Cement Concrete Grass Paver 250 x 250mm x 80mm thick ISI marked of M-40 design mix laid over 25mm thick fine sand including the cost of best quality colours and hardening agents. The paver should be finished and shall be tested against permissible strength, breaking load, wearing resistance and water absorption. The paver should be laid to the required slope and complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
