| 1 | Strip opening of step down transformer of capacity 100 to 200 KVA, indoor /outdoor type of any make after unscrewing nuts & bolts, screws and connected, dismantling carefully connected acesories and removing primary and secondary terminals, top cover, conservator tank, temp gauge,breather,neutral earth strips and draining out transformer oil to the required level and storing carefully in cleaned containers ( to be arranged by contractor) etc. for replacement of defective parts such as replacement of leaking gaskets, replacement of worn out/burnt out studs, checking and cleaning of contacts of tap changer and re-assembling the transformer after replacing the defective parts/repair complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge |
| 2 | Notes : (i) Payment of defective parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule.(ii) The cost for replacement of packing material such as 5 mm thick rubberised cork sheet top gasket, insulator’s gasket shall deem to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor against this item(iii) The repair/strip opening of transformers shall be carried out at site of its installation without taking down/removal of transformer from the site of installation. |

| 5 | M&L for draining out the transformer oil, removing the inspection cover, lifting the core with suitable crane and removing the winding from the core replacing the unserviceable insulation of LV coil, HV coil and rewinding the unserviceable HV, LV coil turns with new electrolytic copper conductor, drying of core and winding in the oven upto required IR values, assembling the core with new insulation, replace the unserviceable LT, HT bushing washers, oil seal, gasket of inspection cover with new ones, conduct all testing, commissioning complete upto 100 to 200 KVA Transformer all as directed by Eng-in-charge.Note:- HT/LT bush, transformer oil, LV, HV coils, inspection cover gasket and testing of transformer will be measured and paid separately under relevent items. |
