Taking down old defective conductor strips of any type/description (i.e GI, Aluminium & copper strip) from wall/ roof and making good to the disturbed surfaces to match the existing surface complete all as specified & directed.

Rejuvenate the existing earthing (GI/copper plate earthig) with provision of new layers of charcoal and salt all as specified in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I, including cleaning of existing GI/Copper earth plate, conductors etc, connecting with new bolts, nuts and washers including replacement of watering pipe, funnel with wire mesh, earth lead and protection pipe including necessary testing on complete all as specified and directed.Note : - (i) Excavation will be measured & paid under relevent item No.(ii) Watering pipe, funnel with wire mesh will be measured & paid under relevent item No.

Supply only funnel made out of aluminium sheet in conical shape, dia of the funnel should be similar to existing funnel complete all as specified and as diirected.

Supply only light grade GI pipe 20 mm dia for watering in earthing Pit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only light grade GI pipe 40 mm dia for protection of earthing lead, water piping complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for \\"Test Point Terminal Block\\" made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of having size 75 X 75 X 25 mm drilled and screwed by providing 3 nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexazonal head screw and connected to Copper/ Aluminium / GI strips complete housed in a PVC junction box after taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) The test points will be properly fixed on epoxy insulators. Cost of epoxy insulators are inclusive of unit rate quoted by the contractor.(ii) PVC junction box will be paid and measured separately under item .

Labour only for watering the existing earthing pits with salt and coal as desired level at site in each area all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.Note- (a) Contractor shall quote the rates by including the charges of making arrangement of watering the Earthing pits at any site and location inside Dronachal Military area.(b) Salt should be paid separetely in respective item in schedule.

Supply only salt suitable for earthing pit complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for providing BFC (Back filling compound chemical) in 25 kg bag, earth conductivity enhancing compound to level chemical the existing chemical earth pit including taking out mud from existing earth pit and cleaning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
