| 7 | Providing and laying Vitrified tiles of size 600x600mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, in skirting, riser of steps, laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS: 15477, in average 6 mm thickness, including grouting of joints (Payment for grouting of joints to be made separately). |
| 8 | Fixing door chowkhats in existing opening including embedding chowkhats in floors or walls cutting masonry for holdfasts, embedding hold fasts in cement concrete blocks of size 15 x 10 x 10 cm with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), painting two coats of approved wood preservative to sides of chowkhats and making good the damages to walls and floors as required complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 16 | Providing and fixing uPVC sliding window made from 62mm profile series and above with two track sliding and suitable size of window sash including providing and fixing 5mm thick toughened glass (one side mirror finished) and necessary glazing beads ,handles,locks, rollers,screws,fasteners, sealing the edges in contact with the wall with silicon sealant to render air tight/lock proof joint. The uPVC section shall be reinforced with galvanised mild steel section. The window shall also be provided with collapsible nylon mosquito net with PVC frame and sliding channel, frames,rollers fitted in the jamb and sill with screws etc. complete including all cost of material, lablour,carriage, transpotation, taxes etc. complete. |
| 17 | Filling up the cracks of more than 1mm width but less than 5mm width on internal walls etc. at all floors / heights and locations using Non-shrink or acrylic crack filling compound / sealant manufactured by M/s Sikka, M/s Fosroc, M/s Pidilite, or approved equivalent product including making required V shaped grooves along the crack, preparing the surface, removing all dust and foreign particles, cleaning the surface with brush, sanding with emery paper, applying the sealant as per manufacturer’s specification together with cost of scaffolding, all materials, labour, tools, plants etc. to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 18 | Note-1: General Notes 1.For their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 2. All the dismantled /demolished materials shall be dumped at one place as decided by the department within 150mtr lead. 3. All the samples of materials which are to be used shall be approved by the department in advance. 4. The contractor shall comply with the provision of the Payment of Wages act 5. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all cost of materials, labour, carriage, taxes, GST, labourcess, water charges, elctricity charges, signorage charges, wastages etc.. 6. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions.
