| 1 | M&L for carrying out complete waterproofing treatment to roof surfaces including complete removal of existing waterproofing treatment of any description including PCC in any position, cleaning the surface by wire brushing and washing and disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 1500 m, preparation of surface by removing all loose particles, applying a coat of water based bituminous primer @ 0.40 litre per sqm and applying a uniform coat of hot blown bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 1.20 kg per sqm conforming to IS 702, providing PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) 25 mm thick as levelling course, forming cement concrete kerbs/mud stops, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 finished even and smooth, and laying APP modified polymeric waterproofing membrane conforming to IS 16540/IS 16532, minimum 3 mm thick and weighing not less than 3.5 kg/sqm, reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (minimum 150 gsm), laid with minimum 100 mm overlaps and fixed by torch application, including sealing of joints and edges, and finishing the surface with solar reflective aluminium paint @ 0.10 litre per sqm complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and as specified and directed. Note : a)The rate quoted shall include all materials, labour, scaffolding, surface preparation, overlaps, wastage and complete waterproofing system. Nothing extra shall be paid. b) Integral waterproofing compound (WPC) shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ. |
