| 1 | Material, labour (Technician & Helper) and T&P including testing eqpts for carring outs comprehensive maintenance and testing of earthing any type as per existing procedure for lighting protection /eqpts/domestic etc in tech area & adm area of 24 ED AF Manauri by tightening of nut bolts arranging earth lead in allighnment manner replacing unservicable earthing lead ,funnel ,pit cover and PCC pits,removing the shrubs etc (which will be paid as supply only) and testing of earthing will be done in presence of user and signed and record the result in register (as per procedure provided as directed ,If result found more than permissible limit reconditioning of earthing carried out by pouring water with salt /chemical as per direction and further testing the same earthing and result should be satisfactory and record in register incl levelling refilling of earth settle down near pit.Note-(i) Necessary compound required for recharging shall be measured and paid separately under item No 2 here-in-after.(ii) During contract ,Payment for each job shall be made once only during currency of contract irrespective of attending/testing / replacing defective parts at any time that will be paid supply only under respective item if not paid earlier.and minor spare parts like nut bolt ,washers etc and brazing,necessary earth work is included in rate quoted.(iii) Pouring of salt/chemical/charcoal water in the earth pit is included in the rate quoted.(iv) Approx 100 nos of earthing to be checked in amonth and Earth test record register to be put up to EIC Fortnightly. |

| 11 | Material & labour for Chemical earthing complete with copper plate electrode 900mm x 600mm x5mm burried directly in ground vetically to a depth not less than 4.70 mtr below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 3.60 mtrs below ground level ) connected to copper strip 32 mm x 6 mm as main earthing lead by means of brass brazing at all joints all as directed and connected to earth test point including galvenizing isolation for equipments to put E-N voltage within limit all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil ,GI pipe medium grade 50 mm bore for protection of copper strip from earth electrode to earth test point of galvanised Iron / steel , adequate quality of charcoal dust, common salt and magnesium sulphate in alternate layers of 100 mm thick x 6 layers all around the plate ,including Earthing pit marker/ identifier of Iron plate of size 300mm X 200mm X 3mm and alongwith 1 meter long medium grade GI pipe of size 15 mm dia weilded with steel plate including painting with applying one coat of red oxide and two coat of painting with synthetic enameled paint of approved quality including writing letters as specified by EIC complete and providing FRP Earthing pit chamber with cover designed for high loading capacity ,weather proof,rustproof,damper proof ,environment friendly,long use life of size 12 inches in square shape , PGI funnel with wire mesh, 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of SSR Part no 1 of 2009 complete incl taking out old unsv earthing all as spcifed and directed.Note- Earthing value should be less than 1 ohm otherwise contractor have to do it again at own expence. |
