Contractor / Firm/ Society PROFIT (KINDLY QUOTE)NOTE: Profit shall remain fixed irrespective of prevailing DC rates minium wage for unskilled worker per man per day.

Firms/ Societies are advised to read the following before quoting contractor profit: 1. As per decision taken by the worthy board of Directors of PSPCL in its 107th meeting held on dtd. 12/07/2024, special allowance of Rs. 1500 per month with the salary, over and above the minimum wages shall be payable to the workers deployed for housekeeping.2. GST as applicable from time to time shall be paid extra by PSPCL to contractor.3. Contractor/ Firm/ Society profit shall remain fixed irrespective of prevailing DC rates minimum wage for unskilled worker per man per day.4. The price of rest reliever will not be payable extra. Contractor will arrange rest reliever for the mandatory leaves/holidays as per prevalent labour law. The contractor shall deploy adequate manpower to insure availability of 13 persons daily & to cover-up weekly rest and absentees as per Annexure-C for smooth running of the work. 5. Apart from above an amount of Rs. 20.00 per workman per month shall be contributed by contractor and Rs. 5.00 per workman per month shall be contributed by each workman. The total amount Rs 25.00 shall be paid to labour welfare commissioner under the Pb. Labour Welfare Fund act 2005. It is sole responsibility of the contractor to deposit labour welfare fund. Labour welfare fund shall not be paid extra.6. PRICE VARIATION: Any increase/ decrease in minimum wages/rates shall be compensated as per actual on submission of proof of providing same to worker. The increase/decrease in rate of contribution of employer share EPF, ESI, Bonus, leave encashment, gratuity,GIS actually payable by the contractor along with any administrative charges due to above increase in minimum wages shall also be payable by PSPCL as per actual.7. BONUS: (a) As per provisions of bonus act contractor shall pay bonus to workmen’s. (b) This bonus amount shall be re-imbursed to the contractor by PSPCL on actual basis after submission of proof of bonus disbursement directly to workmen bank account. This payment shall be ensured by the contractor at the end of the contract and before release of security amount. Presently bonus is 11726.40x12x0.0833/365.8. Numbers of workers & numbers of days as mentioned in Tech. Specs./ scope of work can be increased / decreased at any time with the approval of Dy. Chief Engineer/ O&M Circle, RSD, PSPCL, Shahpurkandi.9. Contractor/Firms/ Societies have to make all payments through bank to workers including below mentioned payments:a) Salary, Bonus, Terminal Benefit & Leave Encashment, gratuity. b) EPF (Employer share & Employee share) shall be deposited by contactor to EPF authorities. c) ESI share will also be deposited by contractor/firm /society to ESI authorities.d) GIS will be deposited by the contractor to Insurance authorities. e) Proof of above shall be submitted by contractor from time to time in running bills.10. Penalties: In case of negligence / failure on part of contractor to carry out the work properly, the following penalties shall be leviable.a) Toilet :- Rs. 300/- per day for each toilet found dirty.b) Floors :- Rs. 700/- Per day for each floor / ceiling found dirty.c) Rooms: Rs.300/- Per day for each room- Control room/reception /conference room found dirty.d) Any other work: Rs. 50/- Per day for any work left as mentioned in scope of work.e) Levy of penalty shall be at the sole discretion of engineer in charge who may himself exercise penalty. Before levy of such penalty contractor or his supervisor, if available shall be shown the dirty area by PSPCL representative. In case contractor or supervisor deputed is not available then officer can convey about levy of penalty telephonically followed by written communication.
