| 6 | M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :-(a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated.(b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer(c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membranceNote : 1. The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only.2. The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab for double storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items. |

| 19 | M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by complete removal of existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint of required shade (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint/ distemper by using roller/ spray machine complete all as specied and directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.Note(i) The old/ New surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour and T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture.(iv) after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building.(v) Before commencing the work, contractor will got the written approval from GE/ AGE (I) for the make and colour / shade (tint).(vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor. |
