A sample of one sqm of turf shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge for approval of GE before the turf is brought into use on site. (e) During maintenance period, watering the lawn daily by providing required pipes and adjustable sprinklers. (f) Weekly weeding, cleaning and removing dry leaves from the lawn. (g) Protection against and control of insects, pests and diseases by spraying fungicides, etc. once in every month. (h) Weeding and mowing of lawn by using mechanical lawn mower with half-capacity collection bags regularly (not exceeding 15 days) to maintain the grass height not exceeding 50 mm from ground level so as not to allow grass to grow wild.
