| 15 | 1.Design Parameter. a) Seismic=Zone V .b) Wind/snow load as per relevant IS codes for the region c) Temperature Range(-) 40 to (+) 50C d) Roof slope= 1:2 e) Dimensions. All as indicated in the reference drawing to be provided as site or as directed by EIC at site 2.Technical Specifications a) Details of Structural Members. The steel structure for the shelters will be designed for the Designed Paramater.All structural steel will be ISI marked with manufacturers test certificate for raw material and structural properties. The main columns, verandah rafters, trusses, purlins etc will be made out of steel sections, MS plates, MS bolts /nuts b) The roof will be provided with 0.50 mm thick Pre-colour coated steel profile sheets. Sheet covering will be fixed with using hot dip zinc coated self drilling hexagonal washer head fasteners. Ridge shall be covered by 0.50 mm thick Pre-colour coated steel sheet. The sheets shall be laid with minimum end and side lap of 150mm c) Gable End. Gable End will be covered with same panels as of wall upto bottom chord of truss. The triangular truss portion will be covered with 0.50mm wider than the width of the opening d) Sunshades. Suitable sunshades made out of colour coated sheet reinforced with angle iron frame will be provided to external windows and doors as directed by EIC as per requirement. e) Roof Projection. The roof will have minimum projection 450mm to 600mm all around including verandah portion. Purlins will also be extended in the roof at the eaves and at gable roof extension (outside the structure)f) Main walls & partition walls. The main and partition walls will be made up of 75 mm thick wall Panels having height of 3.0 mtrs of make Llod panel system /Modern Panels/Jindal Mectecnol/PSL Engineering or equivalent. The Panels will be made of 0.50mm thick hot dipped galvanized steel sheets on both sides with 60mm thick layer of rigid CFC free close cell polyurethane foam (Density 40 Kg+2 Kg/Cum) insulation. The wall panels will be provided with tongue and groove joint and will be with cam lock/ continuous paneling systems tor interlocking. All materials required for the manufacture of shelter will be new and shall comply with relevant Bureau of Indian Standard Specification. Base channel of specified size will be provided for walls. The PUF insulation material in the panel will have fire retarding and self extinguishing properties as per any international standard B2 DIN 4102 Part-l/BS-4735 Self Ext.g) Ceiling. The false ceiling of Rooms, Toilets and verandah will be made up of 40 mm thick PUF insulated Panels of Make Lloyd Panel system/Modern Panels/Jindal Mectechno/PSL Engineering or equivalent. The Panels will be made of 0.50 mm thick hot dipped galvanized steel sheets on both side with 40mm thick layer of rigid CFC free close cell polyurethane foam (Density 40 Kg+ 2 Kg/Cum) insulation. The false ceiling panels will be provided with tongue and groove or lip locking joint for interlocking. False ceiling will be supported with the help of inverted CRCA Tee Section 50x50x5 mm thick and L-Section of 50x50x5 mm thick fixed appropriately to the Truss. h) ceiling : Shall consist of 19 mm thick ply boards of ISI make laid over Structural steel network as designed and directed at Site.i) Windows. Aluminum profile sliding windows with all fitments will be provided and fixed in position by the contractor as directed by EIC The window shutter will be of two leaves of which one shall be provided with glazing of 4mm intello reflective glass and one leaf will be provided with fixed fly proofing using stainless steel mesh of 1.5mm aperture. j) Doors. Doors will be provided and fixed in positlon by the contractor as directed by EIC in each shelter. Door frames and shutters will be made up of suitable flush door sections. Main shutter will be provided with flush both sides teak ply inserts of appropriate thickness and Fly proof shutter provided on outside of the door using stainless steel mesh of average 1.50mm aperture. The main door shall be provided with Aldrop, Two Nos Aluminum tower bolts of 200mm size from inside and one sliding bolt 300mm long and one bow handle 150mm size to be provided on both in and out side of each shutter. Internal doórs if any will not be provided with fly proof shutters k) Ventilators. Ventilator of size 450x300mm and of suitable aluminium profile section will be provided and fixed in position by the contractor as directed by the ElC in each shelter. Ventilator will have full stainless steel fly proof mesh of 1.50mm aperture and will have top hinged glazed polycarbonate sheet shutter on inside.3. Workmanship: (a) Connection. Welded connection will be provided unless otherwise specified by EIC. The welded connections will be conformed to IS 806-1968(b) Fabrication. The general provisions in section 11 of IS 800 of 1984 will apply to all types of steel being used for fabrication.(c) All steel members will be provided with 2 coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer before supply.(d) Various Fasteners and Fittings:- Fasteners and fittings of mild steel shall be supplied unless otherwise specified in and shall be fixed where required. Fastening means will be provided for the items to be fitted at the time of erection.10% spare nuts, bolts and washers will be provided per shelter. The fasteners supplied shall conform to relevant BIS specification. Finishes. All steel work will be given two coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer and all exposed timber parts will be given two coats of wood primer by the manufacturer in the factory. Eight Liters of red oxide zinc chromate primer and twenty liters white colour paint with appropriate colour stainer per shelter will be provided in sealed containers for retouching and painting after erection. All paint material will be of Jenson & Nicholson/Berger/Asian make or equivalent. electrification viz wiring led lights switches required ceiling fan three pin sockets hook MCB complete electrification made functional inside structure the shops are to be provided with rolling shutters on front side with standard design or as directed by EIC structure AREA 986.175 SFT.The measurement will be taken from outside. |
