| 12 | S & F Blackout Vertical Blind (Opaque Range) with the following fittings/hardware, accessories and specifications: (i) Head Rail: Head rail shall be of 25mm high and 47mm wide extruded high strength aluminium alloy section with average wall thickness of minimum 0.9mm. The section shall be anodized for smooth operation and should have the provision of shades valance matching with louvers.(ii) End Control Unit (Reduction Gear Box): The end control unit having reduction gear box with reduction ratio of 3.5:1 for smooth operation of the blind. This unit should consist of a planetary gear in the outer housing, four small tansmission gears fitted in the middle assembly and an end receiving gear attached to central sprocket unit.(ii) Tilt Rod: Tilt rod shall be made of extruded aluminium having three keyways. The tilt rod should be fixed in the end control unit and drives the carrier gear mechanism to rotate the louvers. Average diameter 5.8mm to acheive minimum torsion deflection(iv) Tilter Chain: The tilter chain shall be made of 4.5mm plastic beads molded on 1.5mm thick polyester cord. Pitch of the beads shall be 6m. The chain should be drive the sprockets fixed in the end control unit to rotate the louvers by 180 degrees. The pitch of the chain corresponds to the sprockets in perfect ,match for trouble free operation.(v) Carrier (Runner): Component having anti friction additive consisting of polymer housing with wheels mounted on sides and a gear and worm mechanism with vertical worm fixed with a tongued poly carbonate stem to hold the louvers. The worm and gear mechanism should be driven by tilt rod fixed to end control unit to rotate louvers by 180 degrees. The mounted wheels on sides of casing should be 1 move on rail of head rail secgtion for resistance free stacking of louvers.(vI) Fabric: Fabric shall be of 100% polyester fabric, 3 pas foam coating fabrick of thickness 0.6mm and weight of fabric shall be 390 GSM, EPI/PPI 176/164, Wrap: 80 Den Twisted SD, Weft: 300 Den Roto. The unit quoted rate shall include taking down of existing unserviceable curtain rod etc complete all as specified and directed. |
