Removing existing Acid/alkali resistant bricks/tiles from the position including bedding mortar & underneath layers to expose the hard concrete surface area as directed transporting the bricks/tile to RCF store or other site carting away the unserviceable rnaterial as directed.

Providing and laying heavy duty acid resistance bitumen mastic floonng of 12mm. Average thickness confirming to relevant lS codes (IS 1195) in proper line, level & slope after proper washing, cleaning, drying & roughening of the concrete surface & apolication of compatible primer as directed bv ElC.

Laying heavy duty acid/alkali resistant brick lining of size 230 x 114 x 38 mm thick (Class-I tiles /confirming to lS-4860-Part l) for floor/wall with potassium silicate bedding and bonding (Confirming tolS-4832,Part ll)mortar about 12 mm thick to the surface keeping the joint width 3 to 5 mm within the adjacent bricks & properly set removing the mortar from the joint to full size and to a depth of 20 mm and including pointing with Furan resin mortar/Phenolic resin mortar/CSNL nesin based compound as per the technical speciflcations and jointing as per manufacturer's Specification and as directed by ElC. Using old available tiles including cleaning /transportation up to site within RCF premises , etc

Providing & Jointing the spoilt, damaged joint of the existing acid resistant bricks and tiles after removing the mortar up to a depth of 15mm to 20mm from the joints to full side cleaning the same including preparation of surface with particular type of chemical resistant mortar as mentioned below : Furan iesin mortar / Phenolic resin mortar / CNSL resin based compound for tile size of 230 x 114 mm

Providing and fixing approved 10 mm thick (300 x 300 mm) acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour using acid and/or alkali resisting mortar bedding, and joints filled with acid and/or alkali resisting cement as per IS : 4457, complete as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge. In flooring on a bed of 10 mm thick mortar 1:4 (1 acid proof cement : 4 coarse sand)

Painting with acid/alkali resistant epoxy paint with minimum 50 % solid content of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade Two or more coats on new and old work

Providing and applyingtwo coats of Hi-Build coal tar epoxy formulation corroseal TE-321 with an interval of minimum 4 hours - 8 hours between application of successive coats including preparing and cleaning the surface thoroughly so as to remove deposited salts, grease, oil, dust, tar etc.using coarse brush etc. complete as specified and directed.
