| 1 | Earthwork excavation by manual means for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, all kinds of foundation etc., in all types of soil like hard gravelly soil, sandy soil for the following depth from average ground level upto the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and leveled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 4 | Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footings, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture conforming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F. |

| 14 | Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement at all levels TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted. |

| 24 | Providing & fixing of approved make of ALUMINIUM lay in standard perforated (2.5mm diameter 16% open area) metal ceiling consisting of 600x600mm lay in tiles in 0.7mm thick aluminium pre coated to global white color without fleece hot pressed on the back of the perforated tile to be laid on suitable grid system with 15mm wide T-section flanges colour white having rotary stitching on the main runner, 1200mm & 600mm cross tees. The tiles would have NRC of 0.7 fire performance of class A2-s1 d0 as per EN 13501 standard in module size of 600x600mm, suitable for green building application, worth recycled content of 50%. The grid should be of approved make with 15mm wide T - section glanges colour white having rotary stitching on all T sections. i.e the main runner with c3 coupling 1200mm & 600mm cross tees with hardened XL2 clip having a web height of 38mm and a load carrying capacity of 14kgs/m. The T sections have a Galvanizing of 90grams per Sqm. having pull out strength of 100kgs. Suspension system for grid to be of approved make. Installation: To comprise main runner spaced at 1200mm centres securely fixed to the structural soffit using suspension system at 1200mm maximum centre. The First/last suspension system at the end of each main runner should not be greater than 450mm from the adjacent wall. Flush fittings 1200mm long cross tees to be interlocked between main runner at 600mm centre to form 1200x600mm module. Cut cross tees longer than 600mm required independent support. 600x600mm module to be formed by fitting 600mm long flush fitting cross tees centrally between the 1200mm cross tees. Perimeter rim to be wall angles of size 3000x19x19mm, secured to walls at 45mm maximum centres. Suspension System: Accessories manufactured and supplied by approved make consisting of M6 anchor fasteners with vertical hangers made of Galvanized steel of size 26x26x25x2.1mm with a Galvanized thickness of 80gsm, straightened hanger wire of dia-2.65mm of 1.8m length, thickness of 80gsm and a tensile strength of 344-413Mpa, along with adjustable hook clips of 0.8m thick, galvanized spring steel for 2.68mm. The contractor shall purchase cement from the approved manufacturers only. Secured advances on cement up to 75% of purchase price shall be paid to the contractor after indemnifying the Government and through insurance cover. The quantity of cement on which secured advance shall be paid will be restricted to the consignment of cement tested and passed in the test in department laboratory. The secured advance on cement shall be regulated as per Clause 10B of conditions of contract. Prior approval to be obtained from the Engineer for the quantities proposed to be purchased. |

| 43 | The contractor shall procure OPC cement conforming to IS 269 (Latest edition), as required in the work, from reputed manufacturers of cement, such as M/s. Ultratech Cements, M/s. Zuari Cements, M/s. Coromandel, M/s. Penna, M/s. Priya Cements, M/s. Chettinadu Cement,M/s. Dalmia cementsand holding license to use ISI certification mark for their product whose name shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. Supply of cement shall be taken in 50 Kg. bags bearing manufacturer’s name and ISI marking, samples of cement arranged by the contractor shall be taken by the Engineer-in-charge and got tested in accordance with provisions of relevant BIS codes. In case test results indicate that the cement arranged by contractor does not conform to the relevant BIS codes, the same shall stand rejected and shall be removed from the site by the contractor at his own cost within a week’s time of written order from the Engineer-in-charge to do so. |
| 44 | The cement shall be brought at site in bulk supply of approximately 50 tonnes or as decided by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 45 | The cement Godown of having a capacity to store minimum of 2000 bags of cement shall be constructed by the contractor at site of work for which no extra payment shall be made from department. Double lock provision shall be made to the door of the cement godown. The keys of one lock shall remain with the Engineer in charge or his authorised representative and the key of the other lock shall remain with the contractor. The contractor shall be responsible for the watch and ward the safety of the cement godown. The contractor shall facilitate the inspection of the cement godown by the Engineer-in-charge at any time. |
| 46 | The contractor shall supply free of charge the cement required for testing. The cost of tests shall be borne by the contractor. |
| 47 | The actual issue and consumption of cement on work shall be regulated and proper accounts maintained as provided in Clause 10 of the contract. The theoretical consumption of cement shall be worked out as per procedure prescribed in Clause 42 of the contract and shall be governed by conditions laid therein. |
| 48 | Cement brought to site and cement remaining unused after completion of work shall not be removed from site without written permission of the Engineer-in-charge. III. CONDITIONS FOR STEEL: |
| 49 | The contractor shall procure steel reinforcement bars conforming to relevant BIS codes from M/s SAIL, M/s RINL, M/s. TATA Iron & Steel Co., M/s. IISCO and M/s. JSW Neo Steel with a test certificate, and use it on works after getting approval from department Engineer or tested in department laboratory. In case of non-availability from aforesaid manufacturers, reinforcing steel of other makes manufactured from ingots alone will be permitted with the prior approval of Engineer-in-charge. Sample shall be tested for all the required parameter as specified in the BIS before bulk purchase. The contractor shall have to obtain and furnish test certificates to the Engineer-in-charge in respect of all supplies of steel brought by him to the site of work. Samples shall also be taken and got tested by the Engineer-in-charge as per the provisions in this regard in relevant BIS codes. In case the test results indicate that the steel arranged by the contractor does not conform to BIS codes, the same shall stand rejected and shall be removed from the site of work by the contractor at his cost within a week’s time from written orders from the Engineer-in-charge to do so. |
| 50 | The steel reinforcement shall be brought to the site in bulk supply of 10 tonnes or more or as decided by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 51 | The steel reinforcement shall be stored by the contractor at site of work in such a way as to prevent distortion and corrosion and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Bars of different sizes and lengths shall be stored separately to facilitate easy counting and checking. |

The theoretical consumption of steel shall be worked out as per procedure prescribed in Clause 42 of the contract and shall be governed by conditions laid therein. For the purpose of payment, weight will be calculated on the basis of bar bending schedule and weights of bar given as under.
