Excavation in foundations, trenches etc.in all kind of soil in all leads and lifts such as pick work, jumper work in saturated/unsaturated soil including bailing out water, blasting work in hard/ soft rock or chiseling in hard/soft rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts stacking the excavated earth not more than 3 mtrs clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinths sides of each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth foundations etc., consolidating as directed within all leads and lifts and handing over the useable materials available from excavation to department free of cost to the entire staisfaction of Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts.

Dismentaling of existing MSERW pipes and cutting the welded joints with minimum wastage of pipe and stacking at site of following dia meter as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.

Re-Laying, jointing ( by way of circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding) and testing of MSREW pipe of following dia meters confirming to ISO:3183-2007, pipe grade-L290 or X-42 (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as specified below with bevelled ends and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including manufacturing reducers/tapers, all short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc.as per site requirement made from parent tube. The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect to the satisfation of the engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials made form the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & directin of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately).

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1cement :4 sand :8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding the cost of form work in in foundation and plinth.

Random rubble masonry/polygonal rubble masonry un-coursed/brought to courses with hard stone of approved quality in foundation and plinth including leveling up with cement con.1:6:12 in Cement mortar 1:6(1cement : 6sand) with in all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Wire crates made of G.I. wire filled with boulders with square and cut faced against the wire ( Wire crates to be measured and paid for separately ) with in all leads ,lifts, carriage and to the entire satisfaction of engineer in charge.The weight of each boulder should not be less than 18 kgs.

Wire crate made of G.I. wire hand woven (double twisted) filled with boulders with square cut faces against the wire (boulder filling to be measured and paid for separately) G.I. wire 5mm thick corresponding to SWG-6 15cmx15cm mesh in apron and sloping pitching complete in all leads and lifts including carriage of material and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
