Quarter Deck(a) Major deck modification is required in quarter deck forfitment of winch system onboard.(b) Winch to be placed after frame number 8 to frame number 15 and between the port side pillar and the centre line of the ship.(c) Winch centre line shall be 2400mm from the ship centre linetowards port side.(d) 03 RU lockers are required to be relocated for installing winch sheave subsystem and Hydraulic power pack.(e) Telephone box and power supply box to be elevated in the same bulkhead to facilitate mounting of winch power panel for which all foundations are to fabricated and Installed and items to be fixed.(f) Clear space is required at the aft and for mounting of the sheave and deployment of the array. The area between 2nd and 3rd frame on aft end to be made available by removing frames and plates and increasing the area of the window.(g) Total space requirement from for Winch system is approx.7m from the aft end for winch and sheave.(j) CVD can be placed on Quarter deck adjacent to Capstan operating panel,(k) Necessary deck strengthening is required to be done at thewinch system location. – Approx 3 Tons(l) Sheaves to be fitted at aft end, after relocating the RU boxesalong with supply of fresh water at 1 bar pressure ( 20 LPM).(m) Hydraulic power pack to be located as per the layout options at Quarter deck.(n) Winch power panel (WPP) JB-winch and JB-PP, automaticchange over switch (ACOS), switch disconnector fuse (SDF), Display unit , Winch, Towed Array, Towed Cable roller must be located at Quarter deckNote :1. All Foundations to be Fabricated and installed bycontractor only.2. Shifting of all items and securing is under contractorsScope.3. Deck Strengthening is under Contractors Scope.4. All in way Jobs to be considered in the Scope.
