| 13 | Laying, butt welding and testing of ISI marked steel tubes plain ended in trenches of following dia as per IS 1239-2001, including jointing the pipes butt welding at both standards/approved specifications including manufacturing reducers/tapers, all short pices and bends as per site requirement and made from parent tubes ( to be measurer and paid alongwith pipes. Bends shall be manufactured in such a way that not more than 111/4 degree deflection is caused by a single cut and internal dia is not reduced including hydraulic testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The damaged portion of galvanization due welding shall be provided with anticorrosive treatment by providing two coats of bituminous paint over priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203 1978. (Earth work to be measure & paid for separately). |
