| 1 | Transformer leak arresting, oil testing and oil filtering in Phase-2 plants, FACT-CD, Ambalamedu. |
| 2 | Leak arresting of 2/1.5 MVA, 11kV/415V Transformers in phase-2 plants. The scope of work includes disconnection of HT/LT cable/ bus duct of transformer if necessary; draining of oil to suitable oil levels; opening inspection covers; opening top covers; replacement of gaskets of HT and LT bushings, top cover, drain plugs, inspection covers, terminal box covers, tap changer, neutral bushes, conservator lines, buchholze relays, connection to cooling fins, oil valves flanges etc. with new ones; removing sludges in the tank; washing the core and winding with filtered oil; refixing the dismantled parts; checking the tightness of all connections; refilling of oil via circulation after vacuum filtration to improve BDV required; inspection of any oil leak after the work and rectifying if so and charging of the transformer. Transformer oil required for topping up the oil level shall be supplied by FACT at free of cost. Metal parts shall be thoroughly cleaned and adhesives shall be applied before fixing the gaskets. Adhesives and Gaskets of suitable thickness (minimum 10mm)/size required for executing the work shall be supplied by the contractor. All necessary tools and equipments like oil filter, vacuum pump, oil storage drum etc. required for the work shall be brought by contractor. |
| 3 | Gasket replacement of HT bushing. The scope of work includes opening primary terminal box, primary cable disconnection, gasket replacement of Primary side (11kV) bushing/Adaptor box/primary terminal box cover and cable re-connection of 2/1.5 MVA, 11kV/415V transformers in phase-2 plants. Metal parts shall be thoroughly cleaned and adhesives shall be applied before fixing the gaskets. Adhesives and Gaskets of suitable thickness (minimum 10mm)/size required for executing the work shall be supplied by the contractor. |
| 4 | Gasket replacement of Buchholz relays. The scope of work includes gasket replacement of buchholz relays of 2/1.5 MVA, 11kV/415V transformers in phase-2 plants. Metal parts shall be thoroughly cleaned and adhesives shall be applied before fixing the gaskets. Adhesives and Gaskets of suitable thickness (minimum 10mm)/size required for executing the work shall be supplied by the contractor. |
| 5 | Testing of Insulating oil- samples of power transformers as per IS 1866-2000 and its latest amendments 1. Interfacial Tension, 2. Specific Resistance, 3. Tangent delta, 4. Water Content, 5. Neutralization Value (Total acidity), 6. Break Down Voltage, 7. Flash Point, 8. Sediments and sludge. The scope include taking oil samples from Transformers at site, analyzing the oil at vendor's lab, submission of test results with complete recommendations for reconditioning /replacement of oil etc. |
| 6 | Testing of insulating oil samples of power transformers for the detection of incipient faults by conducting Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) . The sampling, testing and analysis shall be as per IS 9434:2019. The scope include takingoil samples from Transformers at site, analyzing the oil at vendor's lab, submission of the test results with complete recommendations regarding quality of insulating materials, winding damages, internal faults etc. |
| 7 | Furan Analysis. The scope of work includes conducting Furan test of insulating oil of transformers up to 7 MVA. The sampling, testing and analysis shall be as per IS 15668:2006. The contractor shall make all arrangements of collecting the transformer oil from site, transportation to laboratory, conducting furan test, identifying furanic compounds in the oil using high-performance liquid chromatography, submitting test reports with complete recommendations regarding quality of insulating materials, insulation damages etc. Calibration certificates of equipments used shall be submitted. |
| 8 | Transformer oil purification of Power Transformers rated up to 7 MVA in phase-2 plants. The scope of work includes primary inspection of transformer after isolation; arranging, connecting and operating high capacity vacuum transformer oil filter machine with required accessories; filtering old oil to reach the required BDV; rectification of any oil leaks developed in course of oil filtration (gaskets required for leak arresting is in contractor's scope);testing of oil as per the ISO standards, pre commissioning checks and charging of the transformer. All necessary tools and equipments like oil filter, vacuum pump, oil storage drum etc. required for the work shall be brought by contractor. Supply of new oil for top-up/replacement is in FACT's scope. |
| 9 | Replacement of winding temperature detectors: The scope of work includes supply and installation of winding temperature detectors, capillary tubes, temperature indicators suitable for existing 2/1.5 MVA, 11kV/415V Transformers in phase-2 plants. The system shall have winding temperature alarm and trip contacts. Alarm and trip temperature can be settable. Dial Indicator shall indicate temperature in degrees Celsius, with a pointer for current temp and a red pointer for the max temp reached. Any modifications in transformer/marshalling panel required for installation of the system shall be done by the contractor. |
| 10 | Replacement of oil temperature detectors: The scope of work includes supply and installation of oil temperature detectors, capillary tubes, temperature indicators suitable for existing 2/1.5 MVA, 11kV/415V Transformers in phase-2 plants.
