| 5 | M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) confirming to IS:8887 at the rate of application of 0.2-0.3 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of Morth specification for road and Bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined by Mix Design procedure and approved by GE. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹70 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side. (ii) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. |
| 7 | M&L for Bituminious premix semi dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (Paving bitumen of VG-30) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled with tandem vibratory roller and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical paver a complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (i) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined by Mix Design procedure and approved by GE.
