| 2 | Excavation in earth work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains in all depth, all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick wok, jumper work, Chiseling/ Wedging out of soft and hard rock and their intermiate classification of soils including dewatering wherever required, setting out to required lines, levels as shown on the drawing as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at site, according to the HPPWD specification of 1990 vol-1 as sorting out use full and unuseful material and stacking the same in all lead and lift and leveling of excavated earth on dumping sites (to be arranged by the contractor at his own risk and cost including payment of prescribed dumping charges of municipal committee/local body if any) through all modes of transportation including head load animal load and mechanical transportation to maximum possible extends in all leads means along with levelling fine dressing and all labour, machinery, materials, tools equipments and safty measure and incidentels necessary to complete the work by mechanized means and labour (if any required). All useful materials such as stone, shingles, aggregate and slates shall be sorted along road side and lift through all modes of transportation and used/removed as direction of the Engineer- in- charge. Any loss to the private and public property during the course execution will be restored by the contractor whatsoever the nature of the same may be. The usable aggregate/ boulder /cutstone shall be taken in MAS Account anf further will be issued to the contractor as per issue rate mentioned under condition No. 46 of NIT form 6. |
