Apply Glass fibre Dr. Fixit URP or primeseal A on the well prepared groove, allow to cure tack free. Followed by filling all the joints covering the entire area uniformly with suitable chemical. Allow chemical to cure a minimum 24 hours. Apply minimum 50mm -100mm width 45 GMS glass fibre mesh/ non-woven geo testile fleece with the coat of Dr Fixit Roof seal classic along the length of crack when the 1st coat is still in wet condition. Apply the second coat with an interval of 4-6 hours. WATERPROOFING(i) Apply a coat of Dr Fixit Roof seal classic (diluted with water in the ratio 2:1) as Self Priming 14.0-18.0 Sq.mt/litre. Allow coating to dry for 3-4 hours. Apply two coats of Dr Fixit Roofseal classic/litre/coat, without the rate of application being the same for both the coats. This would ensure correct consumption of material that will deliver a total of DFT of microns. Allow the system to air cure for 5 days minimum. Check to see no void surface is left untreated/uncoated. The material having following technical specification as per ASTM D 6083 M- type II :- (i) Attains a tensile strength of 2.5 N/mm2 confirming to ASTM D 2370: (ii) Elongation at break ≥ 300% confirming ASTM D 2370. Adhesion to Concrete 2.0N/mm2 Confirming ASTM D 4541 and crack bridging ability upto 2mm, air cure the coating for 7 days before water pound test for 48 hours. (iii) The system comes with 7 year waterproofing warranty from service providerVERTICAL SURFACES(i) Apply two coat of Dr Fixit Roof seal classic with forced coverage of litre/coat. Entire terrace should be coated with roofseal classic alongwith parapet walls needs to be enveloped with roof seal Classic/Raincoat system. The total 3 coats treatment all as specified and directed.Note : Complete waterproofing treatment work shall be carried out by auth agency only. |
