| 18 | M & L for 100mm thk Cement concrete type D1, 1:4:8 (20mm graded aggregate) in sub base of flooring/ hard standing finishing the surface even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: Design requirement : design criteria: the structure shall be designed in accordance with relevant IS provisions/NBC code, exact government guidelines suitable for Leh however, some of design criteria are listed as under: 1. seismic coefficient as per Seismic zone IV.2. Snow Load: for min 01 Mtr of snow and as per IS codel provision of Leh/Demchok.3. Wind load: equivalent to wind speed of minimum 55 mtrs/sec or as per relevant IS provn. 4.Roof slope: as per design requirement. 5.external temperature:-30° to +35°. 6.Water absorption/penetration: nil and adequate ceiling material be provided through, include silicon ceiling gun. 7.Fire resistant (walls, and ceiling): fire resistant should not emit toxic fumes. 8.Ease of Construction: shelter should be modular in design. 9.Design load: as per IS 875/relevant IS provision. 10.Design of foundation, as per the structure, waited by the authority as mentioned above. 11. The design of the structure shall be carried out on 12 ton/m2 of soil bearing capacity. However, the final design of the structure shall be based on the soil. Investigation carried out by the contractor at his own cost on the structural vetting is to be carried out from NIT/IIT by the Contractor. 12. The rate includes transportation up to 400 km from Leh towards Leh- Domchok axis. S No. size LxBxHm a)20x14x05M . Location will be provided during execution of work by engineer in charge. |

Note: The design of the structure shall be carried out on 12 Ton/m2 of soil bearing capacity. However, the design of the structure shall be based on the soil Investigation carried out by the contractor at his own cost. On carrying out the soil investigation report is to be submitted to the Garrison Engineer for approval before education of work.Note 1-Suggestive drawings are attached for vetting by IIT/NIT by Contractor under own arrangements and cost.
