The application/ treatment shall be carried out by authorized rep of approved specialist firm/manufacturer. A sample has to be prepared by applicator before starting of work on ground and this sample to be approved by GE. Make- SIKA/FOSROC/AsianPaints/Berger.Note:- The defect liability period of water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including sunken floor shall be 10 years and the contractor shall be responsible to keep the entire building(s) free from leakage/seepage for a period of 10 years after certified date of completion. The contractor may obtain a similar guarantee from the specialist firm engaged by him for the purpose. (b) Contractor has to bring entire quantality (as per manufacturer instruction for coverage area per unit of material) of water proofing material in one go and to be deposited in MES store. MES JE will issue material for use at site on daily basis and all empty cane shall be kept in MES store until entire work of water proofing is completed as per CA.(c) Contractor shall submit original purchase voucher as soon as material arrived at site, for verification of required quantity of material as per manufacturers instruction. |
