Dismantling of old unservicable Air termination aluminium rod with and including Supply and fixing Air termination single pointed COPPER rod not less than 12mm dia and 300mm long with and including fixing on GI base on epoxy insulators of suitable size to isolate from the roof and suply and fixing of insulators on roof over the purlin using self tapping screws of suitable length or other means to make the roof leakage proof by using leak proof epoxy based resin for fixing of air terminal rod and connecting with down/roof conductors complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:The rate of insulators for this item and leak proof epoxy based resin is included in this item and contract his quote the rate accordingly . Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Material & Labour Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete /PCC Block (size 200mm x 200mm x 200mm) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of old unservicable aluminium strip with and including Supply and fixing Copper strip of size 20mm x 3.15 mm with and including epoxy/porcelain insulators of suitable size, distance between insulators not more than 1.00 mtr with and including fixing screws washers etc. , with using screws, washers, gutti/rawal plugs etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:The rate of insulators for this item is included in this item and contract his quote the rate accordingly . Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Dismantling of old unservicable test point with and including Material and labour for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75mm x 75mm x 25 mm drilled and screw end connected to exisiting Aluminium/GI strips complete with and including 3 nos. 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screws , test point of terminal shall be fixed with sheet metal enclosure on insulators to isolate from the walls, fixing of of insulators on wall using suitable size of screws, washers, gutti/rawal plugs etc, including making good to disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:The rate of insulators for this item is included in this item and contract his quote the rate accordingly . Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Dismantling of old unsv GI pipe light grade with and including Supply and fixing GI pipe light grade pipe 40mm dia with and including provision of all fittings laid in pavement, road crossing and in any type of soil complete for protection of GI strip complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of old unservicable Earthing pit with and including Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly to ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.65 Mtr below normal ground level connected to 20mm x 3 .15 mm copper strip and earthing lead protected with 50 mm dia GI pipe light grade filling around with charcoal dust and salt including excavation, returning, filling of earth and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and connected to copper strip by means of GI nuts, bolts and washers strip connected to earth plate , with and including PCC chamber 1 : 3 : 6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in concrete pit , RCC 40 mm thick pre-cast reinforced earth pipt cover made with 6 mm dia TMT bar and to be provided at the rate of 75 mm C/C both way ,with and including 12 mm dia mild steel plain bar for lifting handle 2 Nos, funnel with wire mesh , 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering pipe complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part - I 2009 with and including testing complete with and including 20mm x 3.15mm copper earth strip upto 7.5 m length complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- (i) The rate of earth continuity of copper strip size 20mm x 3.15mm and protection pipe 50 mm dia GI pipe light grade up to 7.5 mtrs from earth electrode is included in unit rate and contractor shall quote his rate accordingly . Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) The rate of earth work in soft/loose soil i.e. excavation, returing filling and removal, form work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (iv) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
