Spread non-woven geo-textile or glass fiber tissue of 45 GDM with overlaps of 50 mm in both directions when the surface is still tacky, this is optional,to be assessed as per site requirements to achieve higher mechanical properties.(ii) Allow 1st coat to dry for 10-12 Hrs.(iii) (Apply 2nd coat of PU membrane (ShaliUrethane LHM @ 650gm/sqm or equivalent)as per manufacturs instructions. Extend waterproofing treatment up to 200 mm and terminate into groov on the parapet wall.(iv) Protect the applied liquid membrane by sprinkling sand @ 200gm/Sqm over the final coating when the surface is still tacky to facilitate plastering, and including 25 mm thick plastering in CM 1:3 with admixture and WPC.Note No-1:- treatment shall be done though authorised representative of manufacture's instructions. |
