| 1 | M&L Modular Brick work with Fly Ash bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6 incl demolition of old brick work or stone/ boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quions, arches, pillars, etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(a) Picking, cleaning, sorting out etc. small articles such as wall ties, clamps, holding down bolts etc. not exceeding 3 kg each, which come out as a result of demolition.(b) Temporary shoring for the safety of portions not required to be pulled down, or of adjoining property, and providing temporary enclosures or partitions, where considered necessary by EIC.(c) Taking all necessary precautions for the protection of the public property and to keep down dust nuisance etc.(d) Any necessary disconnection of services, whether temporary or permanent as directed by EIC; any making good shall be measured separately. (e) No payments shall be made for any extra lead, when with the approval of the G.E., the unserviceable materials are removed by the Contractor for his ownuse, nor will any deduction be made for any value, they may have. (f) All coping’s, corbels, cornices and other projections shall be included with the wall measurements.(g) The rates include taking down walls, etc, with plaster but the measurements will be exclusive of plaster thickness. In case of pavings and floors the rates include for removal of bedding layer.(h) Honeycomb brickwork and hollow concrete blocks shall be measured solid. (i) Fly ash bricks shall be burnt clay flyash building bricks as per IS- 13757 with class designation 75 (Kgf/cm2) |

| 23 | M&L Water proofing treatment on \\"Non approachable / non accessible and approachable roof\\" surface (Horizontal & Vertical surfaces) in following sequence through manufacturer / authorized applicator of the manufacturer including taking down of existing roof treatment, properly cleaning & drying the concrete surfaces complete (i) After the plaster is cured, the roof will be tested for water tightness by ponding with water for 7 days for any seepage/ leakages etc without any price adjustment. If any seepage observed the rectification will be cariied out by pressure grouting under the pressure of 5 kg/sqcm using cement grout. After the surface is repaired the slab will be tested for water tightness again before proceeding with further treatment. (ii) The surface of roof, parapet and gutters, drain mouths etc over which waterproofing treatment is to be applied shall be cleaned of all foreign matter such as fungus, moss, dust etc by wire brushing and dusting. Concrete angle fillets shall be provided at junctions between roofs and vertical faces of walls (parapet and other walls), around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc and other similar situation to ease up about corners. (iii) Bituminous based primer conforming to IS : 3384-1965 @ 0.3 kg/sqm to be applied on prepared surface, till the surface is properly impregnated. (iv) Hot blown grade 85/25 bitumen as per IS : 702-1988 @ 1.2 kg/sqm will be applied over primer. (v) Laying evenly over the bitumen coated surface, APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by torch on method complete all as specified. (iv) Applying two coats of bituminous aluminium paint over the APP membrane complete all as specified and directed. |
