Schedule \\"A\\" Part I (B/R) Works
Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position(cleaning repairing etc measured separately) capacity exc 500 & n.exc 1000 ltrs complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling of water tanks and removing to store of capacity exc 500 & n.exc 1000 ltrs, complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank(Triple layer), cylindrical vertical with closed top, 750 litres capacity, hoisted and fixed in position, including brass ball valve, high pressure, 20 mm dia, with polyethylene float and fly nut, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed, complete all as specified and as directed. complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and fixing in repairs brass ball valve, high pressure, 20 mm dia, with polyethylene float and fly nut, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed, complete all as specified and as directed.
Demolition of cement concrete in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landings, chajjas, and similar suspended structures, including removal of waterproofing treatment in any number of layers, and disposal of debris to a distance exceeding 250 m and not exceeding 5 km from the site, complete, as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for laying 10 mm thick screed bed on concrete roof surfaces, in cement mortar 1:3, finished fair and even, without using extra cement by incorporating Dr. Fixit (or Techno-commercial Equivalent approved) at 3% by weight of cement content. The work shall include all necessary materials, tools, and labour for Complete all work as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.
M&L Cement concrete Type-B0 (1:2:4) using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate in roof padding, laid to required slope, including mixing, laying, ramming, watering, curing and finishing the surface fair and even, complete all as specified and directed
M&L for APP-based modified pre-fabricated five-layer waterproofing membrane, 3 mm thick and weighing not less than 3.6 kg/m², reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric mat (160 g/m²), black finished. The surface shall be primed with compatible primer conforming to IS 3488 @ 0.30 L/m² and IS 17029 bonding material 85/25 bitumen @ 1.2 kg/m² before and after laying. The membrane shall be laid by torch method with side overlaps of 75 mm and longitudinal overlaps of 100 mm. At junctions of roof and parapet walls, a groove of 20 × 20 mm shall be provided at a height of 100 mm, into which the membrane shall be inserted and sealed with bituminous mastic. All overlaps/joints shall be sealed with hot 85/25 bitumen. Finally, two coats of waterproofing aluminium paint shall be applied over the APP membrane. Work to be executed as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for applying liquid membrane waterproofing on roof surface, complete, using approved polyurethane-based liquid membrane system, applied as per manufacturer’s specifications, specified below and as directed.
The waterproofing application shall be carried out as follows:Waterproofing Application Method:a) Prepare the surface and lightly dampen it. Ensure the surface is free from dust, loose particles, oil, and grease. Avoid standing water or ponding.b) Apply primer using ShaliPrime WB or Techno-commercial Equivalent approved primer at the rate of 200 g/sqm, or as recommended by the manufacturer, and allow it to become touch dry.c) Apply the first coat of liquid membrane (ShaliUrethene BTD or Techno-commercial Equivalent) at the rate of 1.0 kg/sqm using brush, roller, or airless spray while the primed surface is tacky. For faster and smoother application, airless spray application is preferred.d) While the first coat is still tacky, lay non-woven geotextile mesh of 40–50 GSM, ensuring overlaps of minimum 50 mm in both directions.e) Allow the first coat to dry for 10–12 hours, or as per manufacturer’s recommendations.f) Apply the second coat of liquid membrane (ShaliUrethene BTD or Techno-commercial Equivalent) at the rate of 1.0 kg/sqm using brush, roller, or airless spray, achieving a final overall film thickness (OFT) of minimum 1500 microns in two coats (theoretical coverage, subject to surface condition).g) Ensure final curing time of minimum 36 hours before allowing or carrying out any further work over the treated surface.
Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and removing debris, etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge
