Providing & Fixing of Precast RCC jersey barrier of size 3000 (length) x840 (height)x610 (bottom width) top width x 150 mm manufactured by approved agency using M-30 grade concrete and reinforcement with 8 mm dia TMT steel @ 150mm c/c both ways, having two holes of 50mm dia at appropriate location lined with mild steel pipe. The each barrier will be supplied with 1 number 25 mm dia x 810 mm length or steel for placing in the hole created for this purpose. The each barrier will be supplied with 1 number 25 mm dia X810 mm length for steel for placing in the hole hooks creted by rope hooks when two barriers are placed side by side so that at the time of hitting the moving traffic vehicle all the barriers will act in unison and thus prevent movement towards the opposite lane. In addition the barriers will be placed on a layer epoxy adhesive placed on concrete road throughout the length and width on either side of barrier for the purpose of resisting movement of jersey barrier an and when they are hit by moving traffic. Providing and Fixing of Flexible Median Markers which shall be made of combination of tough, high impact resistant molded thermoplastic body along with florescent yellow color retro-reflective type XI sheeting with minimum exposed reflective area 285 square mm and with rebound property. The reflective sheeting should confirm to Type XI Florescent Yellow sheeting as per IRC 67 2012 and ASTM D4956-11. The flexible median marker shall have overall height of minimum 180 mm, body thickness of minimum 2mm and shank depth of minimum 30mm. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be on both sides of the Flexible Median Marker and shall be edge protected with no exposed edges which will prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheeting damage, etc. The edge of sheeting should not come out easily by putting nails, sharp objects etc. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body. The plastics used for the molding the flexible median marker shall have a minimum notched Izod Impact strength value of 4.11J/cm (@thickness 3.17mm) at room temperature, tested in accordance with ASTM D256.The product design has to with stand all natural impacts and should not get damaged if any pedestrian stamp on top of it intentionally or unintentionally. The product should bend up to 90 degree on both sides without breakage or damage. The product shall be provided with 3 year outdoor weathering report as per ASTM & IRC Standards & 10 year warranty confirmation as per IRC 67:2012 standards for the reflective sheeting used in product.
