| 15 | M&L Forming 20mm wide expansion joint filled with pre-formed compressible synthetic filler board , applying bond breaker tape on top of filler board HD 100 for complete width of joint , provision of closed cell polyethylene back up rod 28mm to 30mm dia filled with polysulphate or polyurethane based sealant (minimum depth of sealent above backup rod shall be 20mm), priming the side and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is appied for thickness of concrete slab complete all as specified and as directed. The sealant shall conform to IS-5818 and MAV of +30% with 10 years warranty complete all as specified and directed. |
| 16 | M&L Forming contraction/dummy joints 70mm deep and 6mm wide (using diamond cutter) and top 13mm (minimum above back up rod) filled with polyurthane sealent and priming the sides with two coats of primer provision of closed cell polyethelene back up rod 8mm dia and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent on top surface and to give a neat finished to the sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and as directed. The sealent shall comform to IS-5818 and MAV of +30% with 10 years warranty complete all as specified and directed. |
