Providing and executing Poly Urethane (PU) grouting comprising drilling of 50 mm diameter grout holes up to required depth from existing ground level, including washing of boreholes with pressurized chloride and sulphate free water prior to grouting and placing perforated grout pipe with nozzle inside the borehole and carrying out PU grout injection in stages of 2.00 m thick soil layer at a time starting from the bottom of the borehole gradually increasing pressure up to maximum 250kPa until grout intake becomes negligible. The Polyurethane grout composition shall be such that when it comes into contact with water its volume expands to at least 30 times of its original volume and the grout shall set within approximately one hour after placement. The item shall include all materials, PU grout, labour, drilling, borehole flushing, perforated grout pipes, injection equipment, tools and plants, carriage, staging, recording of grout data, and all incidental works complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: 1. The grout consumption shall be recorded stage-wise for every 2.00 m stage for each borehole and maintained for review and verification.2. The probable quantity for execution will be around 16104 m length3. The Maximum depth of each grout home would be 25.0m

Providing and executing Cement Bentonite grouting comprising drilling of 125 mm diameter grout holes up to required depth from existing ground level including washing of boreholes with pressurized chloride and sulphate free water prior to grouting, placing perforated grout pipe with nozzle inside the borehole and carrying out Cement Bentonite grout injection in stages of 2.00 m thick soil layer at a time starting from the bottom of the borehole. During each stage, grout pressure shall be increased gradually up to 250kPa until grout cannot be forced further in to the void space of surrounding soils (refusal). The item shall include all materials, cement bentonite grout, labour, drilling, borehole flushing, perforated grout pipes, injection equipment, tools and plants, carriage, staging, recording of grout data, and all incidental works complete as per specifications and as directed by the engineer-in-charge.Note: 1.The grout mix should comprise of 80 kg of micro fine cement(conforming to IS 16993 : 2018), 20 kg of bentonite and 100 litre of potable chloride and sulphate free water. 2. The grout consumption should be about 0.30 m3 for grouting a meter length of each grout hole. 3. The grout consumption shall be recorded stage-wise for every 2.00 m stage for each borehole and maintained for review and verification. 4.
