The spring return action shall be inbuilt mechanism and not externally mounted. The damper shall also be closed in the event of fire signal complete as required and as per specifications. | 16 | TESTS :- 1) The system shall be tested and commissioned by a qualified competent, trained engineer or technician authorized by the manufacturer of the fire alarm equipment to technically supervise and participate during all of the adjustments and tests for the system. 2) Before energizing the cables and wires, inspection and check for correct connections, and test for short circuits, ground faults, continuity, and insulation and other tests as per applicable Indian/International standards must be done. |
| 17 | Terms and conditionsThe Agency must procure the materials from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorised sales channel so that the standard warranty / support of the Manufacturer / OEM becomes applicable to the products to be delivered and installed by them. |
| 18 | Documents that authenticates such procurement from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorized sales channel and standard warranty / support should be sent from the e-mail of the Manufacturer / OEM / authorized sales channel to the e-mail of Engineer-in-Charge and hard copy of it to be submitted during execution, of work/submission of bill.If any refurbished material is supplied and installed, penal action will be taken as per existing rules |
| 19 | Before taking up the work necessary drawing/layout should be prepared and must be approved from the appropriate authority of PWD according to the prevailing fire safety policy. After commissioning, completion certification should be obtained from same appropriate authority of PWD without which payment should not be released. |
