Notes- Applicable for all items:- (a) Establishment of complaint cell:- (i) Complaints cells will be established at AGE B/R - III(Gandhidham) Office (As per locations given by Engineer-in Charge/GE). The numbers of complaints cells in the ibid contract will be One only.(ii) Contractors will deploy manpower/tradesman with requisite tool & plant for smooth functioning of complaint cell under subject work. The details per complaint cell is as given below :-(aa) Data Entry Operator - 01 complaint cell.(ab) Supervisor - As required for management of all the complaint cell under subject tender in consultation with GE/Engr-in charge.(ad) Tradesmen & Helpers - As required for management of all the complaint cell under subject tender in consultation with GE/Engr-in-Charge and will be present in all complaints cells. The numbers of the tradesman shall be adequate to address all the complaints on daily basis. (ae) The Data Entry Operators and Supervisors will be deployed from 9AM to 5 PM on all complaint cell to manage the complaints cell.

(a) Establishment of complaint cell (Contd):- (iii) The contractor will provide compatible computer system, printers, peripheral, consumables, internet connection/Dongle for each complaint cell alongwith requisite furniture for functioning of complaint cell and storage of store as required. (iv) The complaints in the cell will be received through complaint register / site orders book / Verbally / Telephonically / WhatsApp / Mobile or any other mode/system as evolved and intimated by JE/Engr-in-Charge. The contractor shall take immediate action to register and attend all the complaints.(v) The complaints will be addressed through complaint slips and contractors will prepare abstract of all the complaints received and action taken thereof on daily basis and will submit to JE/Engr-in-Charge.

(vi) Dress Code:- (aa) Deployed manpower/tradesmen to attend and resolve the complaint shall wear proper uniform. Dress code for plumber, carpenter, scavenger and Electrician etc. shall be approved by Engr-in-Charge with monogram/badges which shall be fixed on the dress. (ab) The number of workers shall be increased based upon number of complaints and quantum of work involved during working hours as decided by JE/Engr-in-Charge.

(viii) T&P :-(aa) The contractor is responsible to provide all T& P to all the manpower deployed, items such as Drill Machines, cutters, welding machines, scaffoldings etc as and when required at site.(ab) Any other misc works/services connected with user facilitation as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.(ac) The responsibility of taking the tradesmen to complaint site will be of contractor.(ix) Sign Boards :- For each complaint cell, adequate flex sign board of approved size will be placed in complaint cell by contractor. The content of the flex board will be approved by Engr-in-Charge/GE.

(x) All Taking Down for fixing new items will be included in the rates

(b) Penalty Clause Contractors will pay penalty on account of non addressal of complaints in given time frame as per matrix given below. The penalty will be levied by Engr-in-Charge/GE after ascertaining the time taken to address the complaints and justifiable delay, if any. The penalty matrix is as given below :- PENALTYTime delay For Plumber : Less than 24 hrs Nil 24 hrs to 48 hrs Rs. 25 48 hrs to 72 hrs Rs. 50 72 hrs and more Rs. 75 For Carpenter : Less than 48 hrs Nil 48 hrs to 72 hrs Rs. 25 72 hrs and more Rs. 75 For Mason : Less than 72 hrs Nil 72 hrs to 96 hrs Rs. 25 96 hrs and more Rs. 75 Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
