Plate of 75mm x 75mm x 10mm thickness at bottom pierced through with full welding between rod/plate and top 200mm full threaded including supplying of required size and approved brand and manufacture, galvanised iron (GI) nuts, GI check nuts, GI washers and spring washer etc. All complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (The rate is inclusive of all operation mentioned in item). |

| 19 | Fixing anchor bolts with locked nuts anchor plates, placing in position the bolts and plates extremely accurate (correct upto milli-meters) levelling and placing at correct angles as per direction of Engineer-in-charge complete excluding cost of anchor bolts / templates , lock nuts & washers which will be supplied by the department or paid separately but including providing T & P etc.Note: The tower may be a three legged or four legged and accordingly there may be three or four numbers of plates/bolts assembly.Also, each assembly may have bolts in any multiple number. The rate includes for fixing of anchor bolts and plate for all legs of tower including maintaining plate correctly. |

| 23 | Supplying at site the tower members for new tower or deficient tower members for tower on account of any shortage/ unserviceable material found on dismantling of tower or otherwise. The material required for tower (excluding nuts, bolts & washers) and its ladder, working platform, wave guide rack (vertical), antenna fixtures, pipe stand for lightening arrestor, templates, base plates etc. as required shall be provided in required sectional size and length including drilling holes for bolts etc. all exactly as per and in conformity with the approved drawings of S.E.R.C. and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge.NOTES:1. All tower material to be hot dip galvanised. The tower material, fabrication & galvanizing shall be as per the relevant IS code as well as SERC recommendations.2. This item DOES NOT INCLUDE for supply of nuts, bolts & washers as well as erection, priming & painting of the tower which shall be measured and paid under the separate item.3. Measurement: Weight of the all the material supplied (weight of each piece in exact length as required as per drawing). 4. The rate includes all material, their carriage, etc. as well as labour and T & P necessary for straightening, cutting, filing, drilling etc., and hot dipped galvanising to all steel members. |
| 24 | Supplying at site HT galvanised steel Nuts, Bolts & washers for tower in required size and design conforming to the structural drawing of the tower. The rate includes necessary threading etc and payment shall be made for the actual weight of the material supplied at site. |
| 25 | Erection of 40 m Ground Based self supporting tower using New/Old recovered tower material (directly supplied from the factory or recovered materials from existing dismantling of tower or otherwise). The work shall include the following : ( A) Erection of tower including sorting, assembling, lifting, fitting and fixing up all tower members in position true to the alignment including assembling / hoisting / fixing of ladder, working platform, wave guide rack, lightening arrestor pipe stand etc. at required level all complete as per the manufacturers drawing and as per the directions of Engineer- in-charge. The item includes enlarging holes, making holes in tower member if required, straightening of twisted or bend tower members of any type etc. and all other connected works for the above operation (if and as required) all complete as per the directions of Engineer- in-charge.(This operation is only for labour charges for erection of tower)(B) Providing and painting of tower including all accessories etc. complete with superior quality, weather resistant high glow synthetic enamel paint ( two or more coats) in international orange and white shade and of approved brand & manufacture in equal alternate layers to give an even shade as per Aviation requirements over base coat of zinc chromate yellow primer all complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 26 | (Agency shall arrange for all the material, labour, T & P etc. required for the operation.)*** Notes:1.The item INCLUDES for the following and nothing extra shall be paid on this account: a) The agency shall take every precautions against the damages to the structure or nearby structures while erecting the tower. b) Necessary safety precautions to protect the human lives, insurance coverage to the labours etc. shall be the sole responsibility of the agency. c)Item includes for all operations, tools & plants, equipments, machinery etc. required for the work as well as safety measures as per the relevant IS codes.2. The item does NOT INCLUDE for the dome lights and its system, lightening arrestor and earthing system for tower. These shall be paid under separate items, if and as required.3. The item does NOT INCLUDE the supply of tower material / dismantling of old tower & its transportation. These shall be paid under separate items, if and as required. | 27 | Supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of LED's (light emitting diodes) lamp of Vijay or BINAY or Avids or Litten or equivalent on circular drum covered with glass and supporting arrangement etc with inbuilt day night sensor and transformer etc complete. The aviation light shall be of low intensity type of approved make which can work at AC supply of 200 to 300 volt. The Item includes providing and fixing ISI marked 1.50 Sq mm PVC double insulated and PVC sheathed copper conductor armored cable of approved brand and manufactrers, fixed with M.S clamps at suitable interval etc and fixing main switch board with MCB etc. at power supply point in exchange building or any other point as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge etc complete.NOTE:1 The rate includes for all the materials, labour and T & P etc. required for all the works as mentioned above. |
| 28 | (a)One lamp to be provided at the top of tower (up to 40 m height) as per Aviation requirements. |
| 29 | Providing, laying and testing of Ring Earth system by running G.I. flat of size 50 x 6 mm (having 6 mm dia holes at 1m c/c along the length) all-round at 1.0 m away from the tower base in ground at a depth of 1.0 to 1.5 m from ground level in 300 mm wide trench. All tower legs shall be connected to ring earth by 50x6mm G.I. flat. The jointing of the two GI strips as well as joint in between GI strip and gusset plate of tower leg shall be done with an overlap of 90 mm, sandwiching in between a lead sheet of size 90 x 50 x 1 mm and bolted with 2 nos of 10 mm dia GI nuts /bolts & spring washers. The jointing between the GI strips shall further be protected / sealed by wrapping properly with ISI marked 2\\" wide water proof tape. Trench shall finally be refilled with good earth after providing & filling with sand, saw dust, charcol & salt at different layers up to specified depth including measurement of earth resistance by earth megger etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The value of the earth resistance should be less than 2.00 ohm and nothing extra shall be paid for getting earth resistance below 2.00 ohm. |
| 30 | NOTES:1. While laying the GI strips, they should not not be bent sharply at right angles but should be laid in smooth curves of about 1 m radius.2. The rate includes all the materials and labour required for all the above including lead sheet, water proof tape etc.The rate also include the cost of Excavation & refilling of earth tobe done for earthing.3. Measurement: Only the net length of GI strip shall be measured for payment. Nothing extra shall be paid for overlapping length etc. |
