The general check up includes checking of water pump, valves, oil levels, cleaning of filters, filling required quantity of water in radiator, arrest the leakage of oil or water if any, checking and cleaning battery terminals, applying petroleum jelly, check the density of electrolyte in battery, check the connections of in built panel, removing contaminated oil and filling up of required quantity of Engine oil, renewing oil filter, checking and tightening of Turbo clamps, checking and adjustment of belt tension , valve clearance, overhauling of engine, Alternator ,control panels, replacement of damaged components which are supplied by the department and make the DG set in perfect working condition at all times during its operation, and attend the break down calls within 24 Hrs etc.complete as required. |
