Applying third and final coat undiluted @ 0.45 ltr/sqm complete application to be done by the manufacturer or authorised applicator, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 32 | Liquid membrane water proofing treatment over existing RCC roof slab / chajjah / canopy / parapet walls etc to be executed through approved applicator of the membrane manufacturer with following specification complete all as specified and directed :-(a) Cleaning of dust, removal for all loose existing bituminous material manually with heat torch gun to get smooth plain finished surface, removing of vegetation/plantaion with no loose material on surface and treating the crakes upto 3mm width with single pack fibre glass reinforced crack filling compound of SMART CARE CRACK SEAL (ASIAN PAINTS) or equivalent as approved. (b) Repair all joints and cracks with highly elastic bituminous cold applied putty of tarplastic having penetration upto 8mm levelling of surface to give proper slope (after setting) with roof repair mortar i.e. cold applied Bituminous Mortar & cold emulsion cum waterproofing liquid, Created SSD condition on surface with water, prime the surface with liquid membrane waterproofing elastomeric monolithic acrylic emulsified water based bituminous coating with 200% elongation mixed with potable water in the ration of 1:1 and apply @400gm per Sqm (As per Surface Conditions)(c) Apply first coat of Liquid Membrane Waterproofing Elastomeric Monolithic Acrylic Emulshified Water based Bituminous Coating having elongation 200% conforming to ASTM-C-412, having cracks bridging of 8mm confirming to ASTM-C-836 with tensile strength after 7 days 0.50 mm conforming to ASTM-C-412 with no diluation of water on primed surface while the surface is still tacky with consumption of 700gm per Sqm, laying of Geotex of 45 GSM/ Fiber mesh simultaneously and paste it properly with overlap of 50mm & allow the first coat to dry for 10 to 12 Hrs .
