Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil a directed, within a lead of 50 m. (50% all kind of soil & 50% Ordinary Rock)

Providing and laying stone / boulder filling in layers for protection work, in wire crates made of G.I. wire filled with boulders having square-cut faces against the wire. The size of boulder/stone used in the apron shall be larger than the mesh opening (i.e., more than 15 cm x 15 cm) with a proportionate weight not less than 18 kg (wire crates to be measured and paid for separately), in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing wire crates made of HDGI (Hot-Dip Galvanized Iron) wire conforming to IS 280-2006 with all latest amendments, with zinc coating as per Table I of IS 4826:1979, hand-woven (double twisted) and filled with boulders having square-cut faces against the wire (boulder filling to be measured and paid for separately). G.I. wire of 5 mm diameter corresponding to SWG-6, with 15 x 15 cm mesh, to be used in wire crete, complete with all leads and lifts, including carriage of material, and executed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
