| 15 | S&F windows & ventilators fabricated from rolled formed GI section made of galvanised steel colour coated (PPGI Sheets) (Base steel as per IS 513 ‘’D’’ quality). Galvanised as per IS 277 with Zinc of 120 gms/Sqm. PAINT: Pre-Painted sections should be with primer coat of epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finish painted with a polyester paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with alkyl backer of 5-7 microns or powder coated with pure polyester powder upto 50-60 microns thick. GI section of 0.58mm thick in double rebate windows in both glazed shutter and flymesh shutter, (75 x 58)mm outer frame, mullion (74 x 53)mm, glazed shutter (52 x 50)mm, flymesh (42 x 21)mm, beading for glass fixing (12 x 12)mm in fixed portion and the outer frame and mullions to have rebate for glazed/gauzed shutters the sections cut to length metre joined with corner Poly Vinyl Chloride brackets centre mullion fixed with Poly Vinyl Chloride Mullion caps. Glass of 4mm thick plain float glass fitted with rubber gasket in glazed shutter and wiremesh of stainless steel of 36 guage to fix mesh in mesh shutter using VC Gypsum drywall screws and spoon profile of 0.58mm GI Sheet. Corners of the windows should be joined with corner brackets made of poly vinyl chloride with CRCA of zinc phosphate coat. Each glazed shutter and fly mesh shutter shall be provided with SS Pivot Hinges 2 nos in each, Poly Vinyl Chloride handle - 1 no in each and powder coated peg stay in glass shutter. Window shall be provided with enamel paint MS Grill/ guard bars made of 10mm horizontal MS square bar welded to 6 x 12mm MS flat with holes at both vertical ends. Gap between the bars should not be more than 152mm. Window frames shall be fixed to brick / concrete masonry by using nylon self expansion caps & 75/100mm MS screws after drilling in walls. VC Gypsum drywall screws should be used while fixing corner brackets, stay, hinges, mullion caps of windows. Type-4000 series ref drg No CEAF/STD-191/2014 SH1/2&2/2. |
