Mounting arrangement Engine and alternator are mounted on a common MS fabricated base frame with AVM pads. Fuel tank Integral type fuel tank Battery Required number of suitable rated fully charged battery with leads and terminals as required as per manufactures requirements including with mode power to charge supply (SMPS) Acoustic enclosure The DG set shall be supplied along with specially designed, company fabricated (to be fabricated in the same company from where the DG set is delivered ) acoustic enclosure to meet the stringent MOEF/CPCB norms of 75 dBA @ 1m at 75% load under free field conditions. Sufficient space and clearance shall be maintained inside the enclosure to have optimum serviceability. Air inlet louvers specially designed to operate at rated load. The enclosure shall be with UV resistant powder coating capable to withstand extreme environments. Insulation materials shall conform to IS 8183 specifications for better sound attenuation. Warranty The DG set shall be guaranteed for three year from the date of commissioning from any defects in manufacturing. Any of the spares/components which are found to be defective during this period shall be replaced immediately free of cost. |
